I bought these canisters because I thought the lids were tight enough to not pop off. Nope!!! We took one with us today and I cleaned cookie mess up after the lid popped off sitting/riding in the truck. Would not recommend it if you are wanting them for this reason, otherwise nice canisters. Also, if you are wanting larger size canisters, this probably is not the set for you, as there are several mini size in this set.

After only a few uses, these containers begin to crack in the middle where the hinge is on the lid. Basically the lid is TOO tight and it warps the container. After about a year, we only have a couple of the containers that are still usable! Do not buy!

I bought a few months ago and have only positive comments regarding these wonderful storage containers! Lids stay on and are air-tight. I'm so pleased, I plan to purchase another set from my local Sam's! Although, I would appreciate other sizes/sets of containers being offered, as well. Possibly, a couple of larger sizes; plus, having the option of buying the original set as two separate sets, like offering the 4 larger, as a set, or the 4 smaller as a set, to accommodate more customization for each customer.

Admittedly, I was sceptical when I looked at the Member's Mark Fliplock Pantry Storage 8-Piece Set. I look for weeks and just did not find a set I like any better. And these were price great! I had just had to return a set of 3 (name brand) storage containers to the company that were not cheap! I bought this set and helped my mom organized her food storage area's. These are incredible. Lids fit tightly, sizes are versatile, fit well in the pantry, and look great! I am going back to buy another set as I organized, I found more uses for these food storage containers. I only wish they had rectangle size for 5lb flour and corn-meal. (They may have and I haven't seen them). I hightly recommend these and we have used them for a few months, now.

I reall like these storage containers because you can tell right away if they are sealed and locked, they are pretty sturdy and not flimsy like others I have tried, and they have lasted 6 months so far and they are just as good today as they were when I bought them.

A minority of the canisters have cracked after a month of use without being sent through the dishwasher. I would take the blame if it were me trying to put a square top on a rectangle canister...but the square canisters were the biggest cracking culprits. I would not recommend for any frequent (daily) use.

I have 2 sets of these and bought another set as a gift. She loves them too. Caution: do not pick the canister up by the lid as it will unlock and come apart from the base, possibly spilling the contents. I only know because a relative of mine did that unfortunately.

I was able to replace the Tupperware I had been using for storage with these handy containers. Now the Tupperware can be used to store leftovers in the fridge. The squared-off sides are nice as they fit better in the pantry. The one disadvantage is they are not dishwasher safe. That made it four stars.

I recently purchased 3 sets of these, one in store and had 2 shipped. When washing them to prepare them to fill with my kitchen pantry items I noticed water buildup under the rubber gasket that was impossible to completely remove. This is a potential mold hazard and health issue.

Great quality & great price, these containers hold everything from the tiny to the large. I love the look of them. The only thing that could be improved is perhaps a set of stickers so that we can identify what is in them (although they are clear, we still may need help with some items).
