Only the smaller ones did not have a crack. Normally when I buy a sams club product, I know they are decent or good. Not like a dollar tree quality. I trusted that it was coming from Sams so I unpacked all of them, rinse dry and use them for teas, granola and other food that we had that needed a seal container. If I have not put the food inthe containers, I would have returned it. At that point I already did a lot of work. I was devastated. I understand this was only $30 but I expected for it to not crack after a single closing of the lids!

I bought these containers and loved them until I became educated on BPA and the harmful effects it can have on your health. I looked on the bottom of the containers today and realized they are made with plastic #7. Code 7 is the recycling code for plastics that contain BPA and must be avoided at all cost. Literally the worst type of plastic to store food in.

Perfect for my pantry

Just want to point out that it’s actually 8 canisters with 8 lids. I thought by the name that it was only 4 but when I read the description it said 8. Haven’t taken them out of the box yet but will update if something goes wrong. I did curbside pick up & it was very easy.

It is almost impossible to get the lids completely dry. The rubber seal can be removed but the nooks and crannies of the plastic lid cannot be reached. I had to use a hairdryer and even then they did not dry completely. Moisture can cause mold on food products. I had to store flour, sugar , nuts in plastic bags first which defeats the purpose of having fliplock containers. I threw out my old Tupperware containers because after 25 yrs the lids were no longer airtight. Too bad, I could have used plastic bags and saved some money!

Admittedly, I was sceptical when I looked at the Member's Mark Fliplock Pantry Storage 8-Piece Set. I look for weeks and just did not find a set I like any better. And these were price great! I had just had to return a set of 3 (name brand) storage containers to the company that were not cheap! I bought this set and helped my mom organized her food storage area's. These are incredible. Lids fit tightly, sizes are versatile, fit well in the pantry, and look great! I am going back to buy another set as I organized, I found more uses for these food storage containers. I only wish they had rectangle size for 5lb flour and corn-meal. (They may have and I haven't seen them). I hightly recommend these and we have used them for a few months, now.

I was so excited to see these at Sam's club. For years I have debated on buying the name brand ones (with push button lids), but didn't want to spend the money. I have had these since mid February and half have broken. None were dropped, they didn't have rough handling. They just are not durable. One has never been reopened. I put the ingredients in it, closed it and set it up on a shelf. Next thing I know the tight pressure of the lid broke it. There was a chunk of clear plastic setting next to it. No one touched it or knocked into. Another one that has more frequent use, split right down the sides. I normally really like the items Sam's puts out, but this one I would pass on.

I recently purchased 3 sets of these, one in store and had 2 shipped. When washing them to prepare them to fill with my kitchen pantry items I noticed water buildup under the rubber gasket that was impossible to completely remove. This is a potential mold hazard and health issue.
