This product is making my scalp itch and flake. I used for ten days and stopped it. I kept scratching my scalping for few weeks after stopped using this product. It was very difficult even to sleep in the night. I am better now with occasional scratching after 5 weeks since I stopped using it.

Have not idea about minoxidil - Just been using for 2 weeks so I don't know if it will work or not. Product says 2-3 months for results to be seen. I have no side effects from using it so far. Not just water based....So takes a while to dry and it has an oily feel. Not ideal if you are using a fiber powder to cover up bald spot such as from caboki. You can use the Caboki with this product but must let it dry long enough or the fiber will clump. Caboki is a great product as a side note.
