I have been a fan of these caramels for years. My family members always get a jar for the holidays. I bought a jar today and noticed that the caramel is really too soft. Then I read the warm hearted description of how it's a century old family recipe. Really??? Read on the ingredients list that the century old recipe now contains BIOENGINEERED INGREDIENTS. I won't be buying these again. I don't feed my family anything that's bioengineered and no one has bothered to say what that is exactly.

These are fantastic. They're a little on the large side, but that's easily taken care of by cutting them in half or thirds or quarters. I like them in halves. BUT then try adding some of the Member's Mark Crumbled Bacon (aka bacon bits) by putting the bacon in the microwave for a few seconds, taking one of the caramel halves and pressing down on the bacon so it get mashed up into the caramel. A little extra saltiness and a whole lotta great bacon/caramel flavor wrapped in milk chocolate. That's pretty good stuff.
