Hadn't looked at the 10mg until we opened these. Concerned that it is too much melatonin as my daughter when using melatonin only uses 1-3mg. Melatonin helps her with getting to sleep, but concerned that the higher dose will add to daytime sleepiness. Go with what your doc suggests. This is too much in our opinion even if split it is still more than what she is used too.

This really works, but is pretty strong. We normally give 3mg at my hospital and this is 10mg, but "time released." I became sleepy within the hour of taking this, but did not like the "hung over" feeling I felt the next day. I will try taking 1/2 of a tablet next time.

Maybe I'm broken, but this "timed release" Melatonin doesn't work for me at all. Gave it two weeks, every night, no joy in Mudville. I'll be returning it for a refund. PS, The older, now discontinued, cherry-flavored 5mg Members Mark melatonin worked great, every time. Oh well.......

I bought this because I was taking two 5mg tablets,so this was more cost effective. I gave the product a week--during that week I averaged maybe 4 hours sleep per night--when I take the dissolveable tablets I fall asleep within 30 minutes, and average 8-9 hours per night. I, also, experienced headaches and was restless through the night. So, I returned and got my usual tablets.
