Have been using this for a couple years and I'm very pleased with the clean dishes it provides. Consumer Reports are the ones who rated it as excellent. I started using it because of their report.

I have been using these Dishwasher Pacs for the last couple of years. My youngest son, who was 10 at the time, had pointed out to me that he could tell if I ran out of these and used Cascade or another brand instead because the dishes didn't always come out clean. We usually run 2 full loads every day, and this is the only dishwasher detergent I will use anymore! I highly recommend these!

My packaging of this brand in pacs differs from the SAMS stock picture above (see my pics) and currently isn't on the website. It's definitely the same brand and item. Anyways, I always use Cascade. That was the best I could find. I couldn't afford the big box of it that day at SAMS, and didn't want to run to another store so I tried these. These are AMAZING. Things are coming out crisp, clean, shiny and I can skip pre washing and throw things in..suddenly I find myself cooking again since now re-washing dishes isn't the bane of my existence anymore. I think maybe out of 10 loads thus far only one item needed help after. I tested it big today and put in a peanut butter knife from my toast as well as chia seeds stuck in my yogurt bowl and they came out perfectly clean! My dishes used to stink as well, not anymore. I am very very impressed with this item!! Hopefully they won't change the formula because I am a customer for life. Finally the age old argument between me and my husband can stop... husband "You should be able to just throw things in, what's the point of a dishwasher if you have to pre rinse??" me "You have to pre-rinse or our dishes come out disgusting!". He doesn't pre-rinse so I end up hand washing everything he put in the dishwasher. Now we are both happy! P.s. I always put it in the compartment, I never just throw it in which could be the difference between good and bad reviews. If you just throw it in the bottom of the dishwasher, I find it doesn't absorb or break open.

I've ordered this a couple times now and it works wonderful! I am very pleased with its cleaning powers. I first ordered these when I got my new dishwasher. I researched what dishwasher soap to use, and lo and behold - Consumer Reports rated Member's Mark #1 dishwasher soap to use! Can't beat that!

I decided to try the pack soap, I had been using Cascade liquid and Finish rinse. With Cascade i would run a rinse cycle then a normal wash. It still didn't clean! It left the glasses foggy looking, and filling the glass, you could see soap bubles. Flatware was left with a film, so it was like doing dishes by hand. These pacs are GREAT! First wash and it cleaned the white streak of previous washings w/Cascade. This is with the first use. I am impressed!

We've been using Sam's DW detergent pacs for over two years ever since we saw that it was top-rated by a leading consumer publication. It costs less than half as much as the name brands and has performed just as well for us, and we have tried many different powders, liquids, pods and capsules over the years. We have seen no scum build-up or discoloration on the stainless interior as we had experienced with other products. One caveat: Do not leave them uncovered, say in a dish under the sink. The pacs will harden and be difficult to stuff into your dishwashers little soap compartment. We put 20 or so pacs in an air-tight container and use them as needed with no difficulty.

We have been using the Member's Mark Dishwasher pacs for several years with overall good results. All of a sudden, we're finding undissolved detergent particles in the bottom of the washer. This is disturbing, as you wonder if this is also causing soap residue on your dishes...

You definitely get what you pay for. It leaves food on the dishes and residue all over everything I have to go back and handwash most of the dishes. It's worth the extra money to get the better product.

OK Lets try this again. second times the charm? On my dishwasher setup, my machines are fed with a booster heater set to 160F(with a digital controller that kicks on at 159F and kicks off at 161F) from a main water heater set to 150F. My dishwasher is about a year old. Hot water, age of cleaning hardware, and disrepair are not problems that exist here. This is about as ideal of a setup as you are going to get when testing automatic dishwasher detergent. I've now tried several different dishwasher detergents (at several dosage strengths) including: - Cascade Complete powder (Greasy dishes no matter how much I used in a given wash - total waste of time) - Finnish powerball tabs (COMPLETE WASTE. I was to the point of putting 4 tabs in each wash. May as well have added none with all the dirt and grease left on my dishes) - Cascade boil-out(hard to find, NOT CHEAP AT ALL, but highly praised by many folks. I tried it - it was no better than cascade complete) - Cascade Platinum pods (No better than the members mark tabs while costing 2.1x as much) - Member's Mark Ultimate Clean Automatic Dishwasher Pacs (This stuff cleans GREAT. even with one tab, though thanks to my experience with the other detergents I've tried, I often run two for extra insurance. Who has time to run their dishes twice in the event of an incomplete clean? Not me.) HOWEVER, Buyer beware, they recently changed the packaging to a design where the lid is flimsy and not even airtight. This means if you live in a humid climate you will have to transfer the the product to an airtight container so it doesn't get wrecked before you have a chance to use it. Also this new design is EVEN LESS tolerant of Sam's TERRIBLE shipping practices. When it arrives, it will be all over the bottom of the box(if you're lucky) and possibly all over the bottom of the carrier's delivery truck and facility sorting floor as well. Sam's, You guys seriously need to pack your stuff better. Also weakening your product packaging is a very bad idea as my experience has shown. Minus 2 stars for poor packaging, resulting in damaged product to my door. Minus another 2 stars for deleting my previous review of this product. Is the cost savings really worth the bad press?

We have been buying this for the last few years. Something changed.... Thought our dishwasher was not working but tried Cascade pucks just to make sure. The Cascade pucks were great. These Members Mark pucs used to work great. Don't waste your money.
