Definitely not what I thought I was getting. I originally wanted these for my recycling, as a liner for our street recycling can, as sometimes some of our recycling escapes the can during pickup. Sizing of these seems odd to me they are 50 gallon bags but don’t seem to much bigger than 30 gal. Another major downside for me is that they are very thin. I did not get them by mil, and was not even looking for that info expecting them to be like regular kitchen bags, they are not even close. Very flimsy, not sure if you could actually pick up any weight in them.

I was really excited to find some really large trash bags to fit our built in trash bin in the kitchen, however I will say that they are very thing and can rip very easily. Will still continue to purchase because they are the largest I've found for a good price!

Exactly what I was looking for- not for heavy items/trash but the perfect size to store things in garage or attic to keep the dust off. Can be used for lightweight trash also or leaf debris- but not sticks or sharp items - will cut a hole very easily.

We use these lightweight clear bags for recycling, so they're perfect. They're large enough to accommodate most any size cardboard box that has been broken down. The bags are overlapping on the roll, so tearing them off the next bag is not necessary. Lastly, you can't beat #320 bags for less than $25. This was a great purchase!

I cheaped out and purchased these to pack bedding and towels for a move. Once open the bags were fine for their intended use, however, they were a HUGE PAIN to even get open. They are thin and folded multiple times, I had to keep pulling layers apart and snapping the bags to try to get them fully open- I spent more time pulling and snapping them then I did filling them. I usually purchase the Husky drum liners for such tasks, but they are really thick (which is great, but not necessary for what I was doing) and more expensive. Tried to cut corners and wasted so much time. Would not purchase again simply because of the effort involved.

We like to put our garbage in these in the container that goes to the street in order to keep them cleaner and less smell or insects and fly attractions for the garbage can. I also use a clean one for large bedding to wrap and protect them during offseason change of linens. Have used them for years. Sure hope Sam's doesn't do away with them.

The first time I purchased theses for church I thought I had made a slip in judgment as they were so big. However, we found that they were great for lots of things, not just being great at holding trash. I was asked several times to get the bags again. Everyone involved is very pleased with our second purchase.

My husband bought a 50 gal trash can for his work shop. I saw these 45-50 gal trash bags and decided to purchase them for him since it is very hard finding 50 gal bags. When we went to put the bag in, it was too small, the bag ripped. I am sure they would fit a 45 gal can but not the 50 gal can as it suggests. I am not pleased with the sizing. The bag itself is about as we expected, just a liner, not heavy duty like a lawn bag would be.

I love this item. I use them for trash. As well as to cover stuff in the garage. I'm a party planner. I hang my table cloths up in the garage I cover them with these to keep them clean. Cover boxes, chairs. Use them under my dog pads. There good for all kinds of stuff.

These are a great value. They work for almost every purpose except for extremely heavy stuff and/or things with sharp parts that can pierce them - but they don't claim to be extra heavy duty. I use them for every routine purpose that requires a large trash bag and they don't disappoint. It's easy to tie a knot if you want to by using the top edges of a full bag. They're bigger than needed for a large kitchen-type wastebasket, so for that purpose I pull the top edge over the side of the container, then gather up the slack and tie a knot at the side to keep the bag in place. The bags are amazingly strong considering that they are not thick or heavy. A bonus is that when you use them for storage or for moving, you can see the contents -- not as well as with a clear bag, but it's better than black by a long shot! And it takes a long time for me to use 220 bags, so I don't worry about running out.
