Good tasting coffee

I enjoy self-ground coffee from whole beans. This coffee is comparable to other brands at a cheaper cost. After buying two bags in early February, i purchased again in early April. The price was 2 dollars more for the same batch. I check the Best-By date on products as there are instances of old stock at the store. The bags that I bought in February and recently in April had the same information. It was clearly price gouging because of the tariffs. I understand if prices go up when newer stock comes in, but not for the same batch from before.

Makes a phenomenal cup of coffee! If your a coffee affecinado this is for you! I'm spoiled now. I can't go anywhere and get a coffee as good as this! Not even in a coffee shop.You folks that are on the fence about these beans need to do some homework. Know that you can adjust your grind(finer or more course)and temperature and get a whole new flavor. Clean your coffee maker? Anyway this one's a winner in my book.

Good taste for the price

Great quality and value

Much darker than I expected. It reminded me of French Roast. I could not detect any "sweet chocolate & hazelnut notes" — it was quite bitter compared to other Columbian beans I have used. This one tasted almost charred. If you like French Roast, this will work for you. If you prefer medium Columbian, this is too dark.

Overpriced crap

To me this coffee tasted like more of a dark roast than a medium roast. It was also very bitter. There was also a lot of oil residue on the beans. It seems that even when adding salt or blending with other beans, it is not enough to take away the bitter taste. Even "Great Value" Columbian is better than this. I will not buy again.
