They have a coating on them that keeps your hand from getting burned without a sleeve, and the lids stay on securely.

However, I was disappointed when I tried them. The cup isn't insulated enough to keep your hand from getting hot, not burned just uncomfortable. Then the longer the hot liquid sat in the cup the flimsier the material seemed to get. If you are looking for something to hold your lukewarm liquids this is your cup.

When travelling via the airport, you can take your coffee on the go and toss when finished before TSA checkin. The fact that they are made with 80% renewable plant based materials takes the guilt away. They work well for hot or cold beverages and the lids don't leak.

These cups are cute and they are also thicker than many other hot cup brands so I do not have to stress about the hot coffee burning the tips of my fingers. They also come with a grey lid and little cute sayings on the sides. A very good buy.

While other paper cups are untouchable with got coffee in them, these work surprisingly well! The lid stays in place securely enough that I let me toddler drink out of these without fear of the lid coming off and making a huge mess . On top of everything else, the designs are very cute!

I have been buying this product for many years,this was the first time that I ordered this on line. I was very disappointed with most of these cups leak and or defective. One the cups collapsed when I was drinking coffee luckily I had a heavy shirt on and I didn't get burnt bad.
