They're thick enough to keep the coffee hot but not burn my hand. The lids are secure and the coffee only comes through the intended hole, no leaks or drips. It's nice having a set of these at home to grab and go.

You can use them at home if you going to be outside take your drink hot or cold out with you. That way you can just toss it in the trash when you are done. They can be used more than once use it all day then at the end of the day throw it away no cup to wash. I recommend if you have those busy schedules or having people over for a cookout use these cups the lid stays on helps to keep those unwanted guests from trying to sneak a drink. Also, due to Covid-19, they provide a clean environment. Let me explain. I took a short vacation at a fully equipped condo on the beach.
