[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the quality of the Scotch tape - it's thicker than most cellophane tape and very sturdy. The handle that comes with it is also sturdy. Finding the start of the tape roll was not that easy,,,it should have had a card adhered to the start of the roll for easy usage.

I have been using a generic tape, but it was hard to use because it kept splitting on the roll and it was not sticking properly on the tabs so I was constantly trying to fix it. In addition, because it tore so easily I was having to put two or three layers of tape to insure the safe arrival of the package. With Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Tape packaging is so much simpler. It sticks very well and does not tear so easily, so one layer of tape is enough. Also it stays stuck to the tabs, so I do not have to find the end of the roll and re-load the tape. This tape has made my life much easier!

The tape is strong and durable so that you don't have to worry about your packages coming open. I also love that the dispenser makes the tape so easy to use and tear and makes the job easy. This is definitely a product I would recommend for home and for work and it makes shipping easy.

I got a free sample of Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape. It works really great. The holding power is amazing. I used it to seal a package to mail and nothing came loose during shipping. A large baggie I wanted to use had a tear in it and I used the tape on it on both sides. It never came loose even with a lot of items in it and never leaked when it got wet. I love this tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is the perfect solution for your packing needs. I was trying to use duct tape to tape up a box to ship and duct tape couldn't stay still. It was falling off like nothing. And I went and bought this tape and till this day it hasn't fallen off. In fact I tried to lift up some times and it's so sticked on to the box that the box paper started to give way and tear. It's the best tape in the market!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping tape to review. I have used Scotch shipping tape for years. This doesn't seem a whole lot different from what I've used previously. It may be a bit thicker. I don't like the dispenser it came on however. Just too flimsy and it's hard to cut the tape with. I have a regular dispenser that I use and it works so much better. I recently moved and only used 3M tape for all the boxes I packed. There were only a couple that didn't stay closed but I can't say if that was the tape or the person who taped it. I have used other brands in the past but they were far too thin and not strong enough to keep boxes closed. I have also used this tape to get cat hair off my furniture and clothing. It works great for that!! And since it's clear (nearly invisible), I've used it to repair items as well.
