[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3M Heavy Duty Shipping Tape is easy to use. The tape is thicker that other shipping tape, which is thicker than other shipping tape helps it not roll and stick to itself. The tape has a strong stick to packaging allowing it stick well and hold the packaging together. The dispenser is small and easy to handle, the cutting tool works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this tape to seal large boxes, and it works superbly. It is clear, so I can also use it to seal in mailing labels. This product is very useful and strong. When I want to build up sides on a cardboard box, I put it around the corners and i know it won't fall off..... it really sticks!!! I have never had a rip in it either, unlike some other kinds of tape.

The tape came off the roll so easily that it was hard to get it on the box tight. This used to be good tape but like almost everything else it is now so cheaply made that it is no good for what it’s supposed to be used for. I’ll never purchase another roll. Matter of fact I’m tossing the rest of this one in the trash and going to go buy some gorilla tape. Now that stuff is still made well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do alot of selling on e-bay and have tried diffrent brands of packaging tape but nothing and I do mean nothing compares to Scotch Brand Premium Packaging Tape. You get what you pay for The other ones don't stay on so I am through wasting money I will only use Scotch brand products so no more wasting money.

This is the worst tape I have ever used for moving!!! Literally cones off brand new moving boxes in 10 minutes!! I will have to re-tape all boxes as the movers load them. I have had 3-4 tape strips on the bottom one direction and 1-2 the other. Same with the top. It still won’t stick. Even on empty boxes. There has to be a better tape out there!!!! I eclectic better from this company as their tape was wonderful on my last move. I do not have time to keep buying more tape and re-taping boxes!!! This is already a stressful time and this is adding to it!

I have been in the packing business most of my life, and this tape is the worst tape I have ever used. I pack a box and 10 minutes later ALL your tape has pulled away from the box. What over priced crud. Nothing like doing twice the work when you already have enough to do when packing a house. Don't waste your $ on this stuff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of 3M Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape and used this product to seal a package to mail. I had difficulty getting the tape started. There is a "tab" that appears to be the starting point, but in fact the tape ran over and past this point, so I struggled to find the beginning of the roll. Also, there is a piece of cardboard that says "remove here" that protects the cutting blade edge which is a great safety feature. However once I removed the cardboard where indicated, the cutting edge was still covered up with part of the attached cardboard, thus making cutting the tape difficult. I tried to remove the residual cardboard tab, but it is well secured, so I was not successful. I don't know if that little tab that remains is supposed to be left on for protection of the blade, or removed, but if left on, the cutting edge is blocked, and if it is to be removed, I cannot figure out how to do so without cutting myself on the cutting edge! However the tape itself is wonderful! It dispensed very easily and smoothly. I cannot tear it, which assures secure sealing. It has it's own dispenser, which would be very handy except for the above issues. It is clear tape, so you can see where you are putting it which is obviously important when sealing a seam or package edges. I love the tape and would recommend it for anyone's packaging needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M is Strongest tape I've ever tried. Easy to use and no waste.,secure hold. No need to double up. No difficulty with control of size and tearing. Hand slightly disabled and this was no problem for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested out Scotch(R) Premium Performance Packaging Tape by shipping 60 binders to Tarrytown from Columbia in NYC. I was surprised how little tape I needed and how well it held the over weight boxes together. Definitely a must have for all shipping needs.

Not only is the tape good & strong, but the dispenser makes it easy to use, & eliminates the usual problem of tape sticking back to the roll after tearing off a strip.
