The applicator makes it easy to apply it exactly where I want It and then easily cut it at the end. I found that the tape is extremely strong, and I like that once I put in place, it stays stuck.

The dispenser was light enough to be stable and sturdy enough to get the job done. The tape sticks on the first use and does not crease. This product is recommended to everyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product to evaluate for free from 3M. I actually have an older model that I use all the time and both models seem to be the same style so I can attest to its durability but there are things that can make it better. The cardboard piece that covers the blade can not easily be removed (see picture), sure the flap piece comes off but the part behind the blade does not slide out once the flap is off. This can interfere with getting a clean cut of the tape, I'll probably have to use scissors to carefully cut it out but it could be easily fixed by having the holes align with the part that is ripped off so that it slides out on its own without risk of injury. Additionally when the roll was still full, it would sometimes get stuck and not rotate easily, I couldn't actually find the sticking point and it doesn't happen on my older one when I put in a new roll or now that I have used several layers on the new one. The tape itself also doesn't unroll smoothly but instead sort of jerks out in segments. Finally the inner latch that you use to replace rolls could be designed better, it doesn't always stay closed. In fact on the older model, I just use a piece of tape to keep it closed but again the design could be improved to keep them shut. As to where I use this product, I send baked goods to deployed soldiers every week so use these packaging dispensers to seal the boxes and apply the mailing labels to the box. These boxes are tossed around a lot during their journey overseas so need to be taped securely. I have been sending these boxes for almost 5 years and have sent almost 350 boxes so the dispensers and tape do work but could be improved with my suggestions.

I was a little skeptical at it's compact size compared to regular tape "guns", but it was actually more powerful to use because of it's size. I used this to tape up some small boxes for shipping and once you get the tape feeding setup, it is just so easy to use. The tape flows quite easily through the dispenser.

This tape was very easy to get started, pull out to dispense the tape and tear pieces off. I was able to do it very easy and fast. I also love that the tape even feels thicker and durable. I was able to send our phone back with piece of mind knowing it was secure with this tape. I'm very pleased with it and will buy more when i need it.

The dispenser is easy to use and keeps the tape flat and straight while using it to seal boxes. I strongly recommend to tape and dispenser. They are both easy to use.

I've used this packing tape to hold together very heavy boxes that were almost disintegrating. Book Fair Returns for a school. Weve also used it to reinforcethe covers of heavily used reference materials. I also use it for at home lamination of cards and art projects.

I filled a box with old photos and taped it shut, I sealed and mailed a box of AZ goodies to my brother and my daughter used it to create a poster board of her artwork. Easy to use, doesn't get tangled.

Bought in conjunction with a Scotch 3M tape dispenser (red metal and plastic gun type dispenser with foam covered handle). The combination was useless. Tape didn’t adhere very well, then tape could not be cut by the blade. The tape would not cut even when I tried to stretch against the fully deployed blade. Thus, poor tape adherence and then failure to cut resulted in a lot of tape everywhere except where needed. Disappointing.
