Three ibuprofens and hour later, still struggling to figure out how to release beginning of tape roll so I could start using it. There was no tab to pull on end of tape to get it started. There were no directions on package, either. Finally put roll under bright light and examined. There is an INVISABLE perforation that needs to be broken and tape then released. There was no way to know this on the package.

I ordered the six pack of the tape in the dispensers. First, I have never figured out (using for years) how to easily get that little piece of cardboard out that gets stuck in the way of the blade. But the tape I just received, the tape is actually installed backwards! Yes, it was easy to take it off and turn it around, but really - who put it together!

This dispenser works great, but now that the tape has run out, I would like to purchase refills. The only way to do so is to buy the entire set with another dispenser, or dispensers. (I now have two empty dispensers) Is there anywhere I can purchase just the rolls so that I don't have to waste plastic?

Also the tape stops from sticking back to roll and having to find the end. No extra cutting tools needed. 3m gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a roll of this tough stuff to test and I'm now a big fan. It holds fast on every box I've tried no matter the texture or the load. Once it's stuck, it's staying or else you'll damage the paper it's stuck to. The dispenser works perfectly just like the other packing tape dispensers I've used on Scotch products. Perfect for heavy moving boxes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is great for sealing up boxes. It is strong and seals really well. The fall back tabs on the dispenser really keep the tape from sealing back on itself, unlike other brands of tape I have used before. When I started the roll, the tape split into smaller strips, but there was a strip across the width of the tape, near the beginning of the roll, that helped you pull up the whole width of the tape. So no getting pieces of tape that are only a centimeter of two in width, or wasting your tape trying to get the full width. That is an excellent feature! The only drawback is that the tape doesn't roll off very easily, and I had to turn the roll on the dispenser with my other hand. In other words, I had to manually unspool the tape before putting it on the package, instead of just pulling the tape out across the package. But other than that, this tape is the best I have ever used. I would give it 4 1/2 stars!
