I love the aroma when you first open the bag.It has a medium body with a hint of nuts and cocoa.I would recommend it to coffee drinkers who like their coffee not as strong as the French roast but just a little bit smoother.For those who don't like that burnt taste.

I prefer a bold roast so take that into consideration with this review. The 50-ct Via Italian Roast was out of stock when I needed to order so I decided to try this until it was back in stock. This House Blend has a decent full flavor, not flat at all like some coffees I've tried. Obviously it will never be my fave because it's not bold enough but it's still up to Starbucks standards. Would def recommend this to one who prefers a medium roast and has to get it quick and go. A solid 4 stars.

Everyone likes Starbuck's. We love our individual cup coffee brewer, especially since my husband & I have had health issues keeping us more home-bound now. We have more visitors, & it's so nice to be ableto offer them a choice of their favorite beverages as we share a little time together. The online ordering & delivery to our doorstep convenience is priceless.

I tried this after two of my fellow baristas suggested having it iced on our store's Clover machine, and all I can say is WOW. House blend is a tasty coffee that's not too light or too dark, not too acidic or bitter, not too complex, etc; to me, it really just makes a lovely, well-balanced cup of coffee. And the best part? It never leaves that unpleasant coffee aftertaste in your mouth. I've since turned another partner at my store and a few family members onto this coffee, and we all agree that it's a wonderful blend. If you're looking to cool down, definitely try this one iced as well!

Years ago there was a blend that came out that was called Viennese which of course was short lived, but it was love at first sip! I spoke to a Master Barista who told me if I wanted to create something similar I should mix the House blend with the Espresso Blend, 3 parts to 1. I've been drinking that blend ever since! I really like the House blend as a stand alone too because it's a nicely balanced, medium acidity.

My first cup of Starbuck's coffee started with this kind. Today, it is still at the top of my list of go to coffee for any time of the day. It is anticipation, a boost of energy, a kick in the pants, and a warm hug all in one. For whatever the reason, need, or decision for having a cup of coffee, you can't go wrong with this one. Never too strong to have a bitter aftertaste, but always comforting and delicious.
