I'm new to coffee drinking and often can't handle a very strong, dark roast. Usually I don't buy Starbucks because it's pretty dark and my tastebuds can't handle it but I saw this at the grocery store and knew I had to try it! It's perfect for me in the morning (or anytime of day.) It's really soft and calm, perfect for my taste buds that prefer a lighter coffee. It's definitely not bland and it's got just enough flavor to be a fantastic, tasty coffee. I will buy this forever.

If you ever wondered what those concoctions of rain water, dirt, and dead leaves you made as a child actually tasted like, this is it. Based on other reviews, it seems this blend used to be much better... this is my first time trying it, and I couldn't be more disappointed. Complete waste of money. As a former Starbuck's employee, I'm aware of their usual standards. I don't know how this one slipped onto their menu. You couldn't pay me enough to drink this

I've always heard about the blonde roasts, but I haven't had it until now. This coffee is excellent! It's closer to a medium roast than a light roast, but it's an insane improvement on their medium and dark "roasts." This coffee also has a delicate almond note.

I have been drinking this as my at-home brand for years, and it's always wonderful. This most recent bag I bought is disgustingly bitter. What is going on? I bought a few bags at the same time, will have to throw them all out now. Am hesitant to spend even more money to buy yet another bag to see if this is a permanent change, will probably have to switch products instead. Too bad as I used to love this blend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a light roast blend of coffee and this one is my new favorite. The Veranda blend has a great taste and is strong unlike many other lighter blend coffees. It has a really smooth and not bitter taste that I enjoy.

I typically prefer medium or dark roast coffees, but this is absolutely outstanding. Very easy to drink but full of great mellow flavor. This would be great for someone just getting into coffee but it has plenty to offer long-time coffee drinkers as well!!
