[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This roast has a mild but full flavor and doesn’t leave me feeling jittery or give us gut rot. It was enjoyable and a crowd pleaser. It’s a good value for decent coffee. We will be including this in our rotation of coffees.

So if you (the coffee consumer) have ever taken a coffee tour in Central America or other regions where coffee is grown, you probably have heard by now how many growers and serious coffee connoisseurs make fun of Starbucks (and often the silly American coffee drinkers in general). Darker roast coffees are cooked longer and are actually burnt, which makes the coffee darker and more bitter (or "bolder") in taste. By contrast, the lighter roast is not burnt and usually has a mellower, sweeter taste and aroma. The lighter coffee also has higher caffeine content... essentially because it has not been burned away while roasting. I've often wondered why I did not prefer Starbucks over other varieties of coffee until I took such a tour and learned more about the varieties of coffee and how roasting takes place. Bottom line... Great job Starbucks, you finally hooked me in. I really like the blond blend as an alternative to the darker roast coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this coffee blend it’s super good and not strong like other coffees. I’m very picky when it comes to coffee and this is the one I was looking for I never tried it but now I love it. I really recommend this one.

I consider myself a lover of strong, dark roasts. But, on a whim, I wanted to experiment with my pour-over technique in order to compare a blonde roast with over-the-counter Folgers. I was incredibly surprised. Using 19 grams of freshly ground beans, 369 grams of 195 degree, filtered coffee, this has as much deep flavor as the Pike Place, French, or Sumatra. Veranda and Sumatra are neck in neck for my favorites.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With inflation, I’m no longer able to visit Starbucks daily for my cup of coffee. I’m back to using my keurig with Starbucks k cups. Veranda blend is very smooth tasting. It’s sweeter than regular roast but the k cup is definitely not as strong as getting a fresh cup at Starbucks. The flavor is the same but definitely more watered down. Will keep buying though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually drink dark coffee at work, but this seemed so much fuller, and richer. I sipped it, and added some cinnamon creamer. It was stronger than what I'm used too, but not a bad coffee. Super easy to open and keep closed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes a decent cup of coffee. Works for my tastes and I think most folks tastes. Much more refreshing than other brands at a large scale, might not pass the sniff test for those who are very picky, but perfect for everyone else!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not big on a light roast but this one tastes great! The chocolate notes add to the coffee in such a fun and pleasant way that surprised me a lot. I don't drink decaf but this roast is so light I treat it like decaf.

It is strong and makes a great pot of coffee and also works great with pour-over and as a cold brew in my opinion. I love the flavor of this coffee a lot - the chocolate undertone is flavorful but not overpowering and adds a nice hint to my coffee. As always, Starbucks is a superior company in making coffee products and really knows what they are doing. I definitely recommend this!

I just tried the veranda blend this morning & I LOVE it!! I was very skeptical because I tried the willow blend when it first came out & didn't care for it--too acidic & bitter. The veranda is perfect for people like me who like a lighter roast & well balanced coffee. I tasted no citrus & no weird after taste! Very smooth & mellow. PLEASE PLEASE make it in DECAF!!!!!!! Despite my caffeine intolerance, i'll still drink this every now & then but, the barista told me that blonde roasts have more caffeine, so I can't drink it all of the time. If this blend come out in decaf, it might just convert this avid tea drinker to a coffee fanatic!!! :)
