Smooth Flavorful Coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Typically I purchase dark roast for my cold brew but decided to give the Blonde Veranda Blend a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth and flavorful taste while also still giving a nice coffee flavor. I would purchase again to mix up my cold-brew recipe to break up the monotony.

Makes a great cup of coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Starbucks Veranda Blend because it offered the blonde roast. I’ve found in the last couple of years I prefer a lighter roast than I used to and not everyone either offers it or has one that tastes good! I actually tend to lean away from Starbucks as their roasts can taste burnt to me; however decided to give this one a try. I’m glad I did! It has a nice, light flavor that is complemented well by my half and half. It says on the box the best way to have the k-cup is on the 8oz setting, but I always choose the 12oz and it’s perfect for me. The coffee itself is 100% Arabica that is ethically sourced. If you’re looking for a light blend that you can drink anytime of day, I’d definitely recommend this one.

Mellow morning coffee

With a slight aroma of pecans, the Veranda also makes good iced coffee. Since this coffee has few of the spicy, herbal aromas that often conflict with milk (and I like whole, organic milk in coffee) this works well to help me start the day. I'm still hoping that Starbucks brings back the Iced Coffee Whole Bean that they sold a few years ago. In the meantime, this will do as a substitute.

Light yet full of taste

When I ordered this coffee I was uncertain if it would satisfy my taste buds. I am happy to report that it did. It has a hint of the "Starbucks" traditional taste yet it is mild and very tasty without much acidic taste to it. If you are looking for a mellow yet robust tasting cofee here it is.

Great smell...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tasted very different from drinks that I normally drink. It wasn't as strong as my usual go too. It tastes like a light piece of air but with a little kick. It was very delicious with my creamer in it and my sugar.

Blonde, but dark

I consider myself a lover of strong, dark roasts. But, on a whim, I wanted to experiment with my pour-over technique in order to compare a blonde roast with over-the-counter Folgers. I was incredibly surprised. Using 19 grams of freshly ground beans, 369 grams of 195 degree, filtered coffee, this has as much deep flavor as the Pike Place, French, or Sumatra. Veranda and Sumatra are neck in neck for my favorites.

Awesome!!!

The blonde roast is finally the coffee I have been waiting for from Starbucks. I have always loved Starbucks coffees, but sometimes the coffee is too strong and heavy. The blonde roast has the boldness and richness I want in a coffee without the overpowering strength that makes it too strong to drink. I can have the bold richness I like without the heavy strength that sometimes hurts my stomach.

Men do prefer "Blonde"

I guess men do prefer "Blonde" because this is some great tasting coffee. Our office secretary brought in a sample bag the other day, so we lit it up and what a treat. We both were really impressed. When I got home I told my wife how good this new blend is and hope I can find it in our local grocery store and brew her up a cup, (okay make that a pot.).

wonderful coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starbucks - VERANDA BLEND Ground coffee has a nice golden package design that I can seal . The package is twelve oz of a blonde roast which means is light exactly how I prefer. Every time I open the bag I love that coffee aroma . Wonderful coffee!

Tasteless

I normally drink French Roast, so yes I like bold coffee; but I thought I'd give this a try, thinking it might be nice for those days I'm feeling more mellow. Unfortunately, I found it to be way too weak. It didn't taste like coffee at all; more like really weak tea.
