My favorite Starbucks coffee has always been Breakfast Blend, until I tried this Blond Roast Veranda Blend. Now I'm not saying that it is better than good ole Breakfast Blend but it sure is giving it a run for it's money. Y'all need to try this one..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this blend because it is extra smooth and the acidity seems to be very mild, in my opinion. I generally put just a dash of cream in my coffee, but this is perfectly fine black. The caffeine does seem to be a bit higher than the darker blends, so that is worth noting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Starbucks Verona has that smooth, dark roasted coffee taste expected from Starbucks. It is easy to drink with hints of chocolate. It is slightly on the over roasted side so it does have a hint of burnt coffee, which lingers for some time, but not on every sip. .

This K-Cup is exceptional, and the way they make it creates a great flavor. I am an avid coffee drinker, and this is great and high quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to have my coffee every morning and this one is fantastic! The flavor is robust and calming at same time! No need for creamer as I love the flavor and just add small amount. Sweetener to it. If you love your coffee this is a must have.

I don't know all the fancy words for this coffee, all I know is it is supremely drinkable! I am not one for terribly dark roasts, and actually had been going to other roasters to get a light roast. Then, finally, SB heard the pleas of coffee drinkers like me who don't seek out "pucker power" but rather want a more pleasant experience, and now we have Blonde coffees! Outstanding, easy to drink, good hot or cold, good morning or night, (unless you are like me and can't sleep after drinking coffee in the afternoon). Can't say enough good things!! Bottom line, totally yummy! Enjoy!!

While I've always preferred a darker roast, it's nice to have something a little lighter every now and then, or something to recommend to customers who think that our standard Pike's Place coffee is too strong; and Veranda fits perfectly. You can see it from the moment you open the bag, the beans have taken on a much lighter color from a shorter roasting process, and aren't as oily as Medium or Dark roast beans. This translates into crisp, light coffee that's perfect to have in the morning with breakfast or on a sunny afternoon. And unlike the Willow blend, which was just seemed to weak even for a blonde roast, the Veranda Blend is Mellow, but not feeble.

This used to be my favorite coffee. I always loved the smell and taste of it. But something has changed. Now when I buy a bag and open it, it has a really pungent chemical smell and it tastes a lot more acidic. That smell doesn't go away either. I keep the grounds in a stainless steel and glass coffee container and every time I open it I'm hit with the scent of chemicals. I thought maybe I just got an old bag. But the last 3 bags I've bought were the same. Please don't change a good thing. Bring back the mellow malted milk and chocolate flavors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a big fan of Starbucks coffee already, but am now a huge fan of their blond roast! I use this coffee every morning to make iced coffee and it tastes amazing! I would definitely recommend this flavor and will probably buy it again.
