The blonde roast is finally the coffee I have been waiting for from Starbucks. I have always loved Starbucks coffees, but sometimes the coffee is too strong and heavy. The blonde roast has the boldness and richness I want in a coffee without the overpowering strength that makes it too strong to drink. I can have the bold richness I like without the heavy strength that sometimes hurts my stomach.

I consider myself a lover of strong, dark roasts. But, on a whim, I wanted to experiment with my pour-over technique in order to compare a blonde roast with over-the-counter Folgers. I was incredibly surprised. Using 19 grams of freshly ground beans, 369 grams of 195 degree, filtered coffee, this has as much deep flavor as the Pike Place, French, or Sumatra. Veranda and Sumatra are neck in neck for my favorites.

I am not a typical coffee drinker. I enjoy a lighter coffee flavor and tend to make cold coffee beverages with ice and milk. This is by far the best coffee for someone like myself. The flavor is not as intense and is very smooth with no significant after taste. I will definitely buy again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a good cup of coffee in the morning and I'm loving this Starbucks verbena blend. It has a nice bold flavor and isn't bitter in any way. It has notes of toasted malt and baking chocolate. It's definitely a nice smooth coffee. I like that the k-cups are recyclable as well. Definitely a good quality coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Veranda Blend Blonde Roast is my favorite of all the varieties of coffee from Starbucks. It's not bitter like a few other coffee blends of theirs I have tried. Being a lighter roast I find that it gives me a smooth quick boost of energy that lasts all day! One cup and I'm good to go!

i love my starbucks coffees but sometimes you want a little something different. to me its just less strong doesn't require as much sugar and cream. my fav thing is to add some white mocha sauce and a mild pod. i did hesitate at first to buy it thinking it would be a really weak coffee. it isn't its just a step down from the other coffees. still has plunty of punch.

I love this coffee. It is my favorite roast by far. I was never a black coffee drinker before I started working for Starbucks. Though I enjoy mixing flavors and creamers with all my coffee I drink, I can enjoy the simplicity of black coffee. Veranda is my favorite not just because its a lighter roast but because it helped me to be able to recognize the actual flavor notes and taste of coffee. Not just bitterness. I enjoy trying every Starbucks brew I can but Veranda is the only one I keep stocked at home and enjoy more than 8oz of. Love it and I'd like to see more of it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a big fan of Starbucks coffee already, but am now a huge fan of their blond roast! I use this coffee every morning to make iced coffee and it tastes amazing! I would definitely recommend this flavor and will probably buy it again.
