[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rich, robust flavor with notes of chocolate and nice coffee crispness. Pairs beautifully with my morning bagel and with dessert. I made an excellent coffee infused rub for steaks with it for the grill.

Coffee started to taste all the same to me; I bought a pound of this when I was in a store to buy gift cards and remembered that I still had a gift card of my own. Had them grind it for me for percolator (I know, I see coffee snobs cringing) and found it flavorful but not acidic. I bought a new grinder and started getting this regularly. I AM disappointed that this is not labeled as 'bird friendly' since there is a hummingbird on the label. In fact, NO current Starbucks blends are--it's a designation created by the Smithsonia for coffees that are organic and shade-grown, in places that do not cut trees needed for migrating bird habitat. It does make a difference. But, I like the coffee--I wish Starbucks would make more of an effort to find bird friendly suppliers.

I add my own creamer and whip cream. I recommend this coffee to people who like sweet coffee. It’s not strong and just right. Starbucks is my go to brand for coffee because of the variety they have. It is a trusted and reliable brand for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Starbucks VERANDA BLEND Ground coffee. It’s a soft mellow blend of coffee. This coffee is also smooth and not a bitter after taste. I would definitely recommend the Veranda Blend to everyone.

I like the Veranda Blend because it has 100mg more caffeine than a dark roast. If I'm gonna drink coffee, antioxidants and caffeine is what I want beyond the taste! The Veranda Blend doesn't have the bitter taste and it's not too strong or bold. I can actually taste the nutty coffee and still enjoy "dressing it up" with a little creamer and sweetener. It's at the cross roads of a mellow and mild brew and has a soft delicate taste unlike dark roasts which taste burnt, smoky and ashy to me. The store doesn't roast Veranda past 12:00 but will do a pour over version...ugh, gross! The brewing method makes a notable difference in the taste. Veranda is best enjoyed brewed in store or the VIA packets. Unless you have the perfect coffee maker with the perfect temperature and brewing method. If Veranda isn't quite right for you and dark roast isn't either, Pike Place Blend, House Blend or Breakfast Blend is probably the next best in that order 4/5 stars because I prefer the VIA over the ground b/c I get better consistency in taste due to brew methods.. Note: First off, I'm NOT a coffee drinker. I only started during finals seasons and all nighters in undergrad 15 yrs ago then when I was working full time and school full time! When I do enjoy coffee it's usually b/c I'm visiting a friend who makes it very well or I'm at Starbucks meeting with a friend or I'm having dessert. Because I don't drink it often, I'm more aware of the tastes and can point out a good coffee (according to my liking).

We purchase Veranda Blonde in our local grocery store. My husband loves this blend. It has a great coffee flavor without the acidic stomach ache later. We always have at least 3 lbs. on hand because our family and friends are coffee lovers too. Great taste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of my favorite blends. I like dark as possible and usually go with Sumatra but this is much smoother without sacrificing much boldness. This is probably my favorite coffee blend but I usually drink espresso but prefer this over the Starbucks espresso blend for sure.
