I have never been a big fan of Starbucks Coffee, always had to add lots of sugar and steamed milk for my taste. This morning I tried a sample of the "Blonde" Roast, and then ordered one. I LOVED IT!! If I take a sip of coffee, and don't need to add sugar or cream, I know I have a great cup of coffee. And this is it. I purchased a bag to bring home. Can't wait to make a pot tomorrow morning!

I use the whole bean for freshness the taste is so reviving in the morning I love the aroma it has. Not as good as going to Starbucks but pretty close. Great coffee anytime of day. I love the smooth taste. I will never buy any other brand of coffee Starbucks is the best.

I must have got a bad batch because my experience was very different than the other reviewers. To me, this coffee was neither mellow or soft as described on the package, and it tasted like medium/dark roast. It had high acid content and a strong aftertaste. The package does state that it is a blend. I learned on a tour of a coffee plantation that many companies blend low quality beans to reduce cost. Maybe my bag was not "blended" enough. It is no better than any cheap coffee on the market.

Great flavor can be found in the new blonde blend of coffee from Starbuck's. Veranda provides a mellow, smooth and low acidic burst of taste in your mouth. Pure clean aromatic smell fills the house when brewing and there is no burnt or over roasted after taste. Greatly enjoyed as a breakfast or desert coffee. Perfect served over ice too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Starbucks coffee but I don’t like leaving home every day to get one so this is perfect! I get Starbucks quality at home with no line and it’s a fraction of the cost. Verona is a dark roast which is my favorite! It’s rich, bold but not at all bitter. I was able to pick out the sweet undertones of sweetness and cocoa as I sipped this delicious brew. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a “flavored” coffee but I am able to appreciate the rich flavor of the coffee beans themselves. For someone that’s not a regular coffee drinker this may be too strong but for me it’s perfect; bold, strong, and delicious. I love it!

This coffee is rich in taste, smooth, no bitterness whatsoever. I like strong coffee. I use this to press. I just wish they would make it easier to decipher the whole bean and ground when ordering.... I always want ground, but end up getting beans because I did not read the fine print close enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Nice resealable bag. No overwhelming flavor notes. Cons: None really. I found this product to be no better or worse than any other comparible products. I detected a slight "burnt" taste which I detect with any/all caramel noted coffees. I didn't detect any chocolate.

Please don't ever stop offering this coffee, Starbucks. I don't ever want to drink any other. I was hooked at the first cup. I've been drinking coffee for 40 years and this is, by way far, the best I've ever had. So smooth and flavorful without bitterness and oiliness. I could go on and on raving about it!
