There seems to be batch-to-batch variability with this product. I bought a bag in February and the beans were fresh, oily, and they smelled and tasted great. I bought another bag a couple months later and the beans were dry and smelled slightly burned. The coffee tasted ok, but did not seem to have as much of the rich caramel flavor as previous bags.
