[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVED the Starbucks Expresso Roast. I love the rich aroma and the hints of molasses and caramelized sugar. The dark roast coffee smelled delicious, tasted incredible, and left me wanting a second cup every time!

Espresso Roast is just the right balance of flavors. The carmel, smokey taste is bold yet does not have any bite to it. I add milk to mine to try copying a Starbuck Latte plain. I wish Starbuck would sell in K-cups the espresso and milk --Latte set as they do in their coffee maker cups..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Starbucks Espresso Roast Ground Coffee makes a great cup of espresso. I received a #freesample and used it in my espresso machine and the smell was amazing. The taste of the coffee was bold and smooth with no bitterness. The robust flavor had just the right amount of smoky sweetness.

4 stars when brewed with a cheap french press, 5 stars when brewed with my fancy DeLonghi espresso machine I received as a Christmas gift. What I've learned throughout the years is the taste of the brew is reliant upon the person's handling expertise. First...make sure your grinding the beans enough but not too much. There are guides floating around out there regarding equipment and whether using a coarse or fine size is best. Second...the fresher the bean the better tasting. Third...I question your review if you're brewing out of a Keurig. Those pods are incomparable, worthless, and wasteful. If correctly and timely brewed the taste is excellent.

The dark roast gives this coffee a robust flavor profile which in general would be good, even pleasant yet a little harsh vs. other dark roasts i have tried. All in all, I good ground coffee which, in my opinion is better suited to make lattes, cappuccinos and the such

Coffee is great as always. Shipping was extremely slow. I guess if it is free, they don't care how they send it. Also, ordered in February 2017 and the expiration date was for April 2017. very disappointing. Yea, I know coffee stays fresh for a long while later past the expiration date - it's just the principal.

This espresso roast is strong but not overpowering. I loved it in my morning protein shake (a pro-fee you can say lol) definitely gave me a wake up boost without jitters. #ad

I purchased the Verissmo with the hope that I could enjoy starbuck latte's at home - unfortunately the milk pods for the verissmo aren't that great. The good news is that the expresso is great and you can just buy one of those frothing pitchers and use fresh milk/ or half and half and feel like you are in starbucks. Of course, I could also have saved a small fortune on the machine and just used any other single cup brewer that uses starbucks expresso.

I've been getting this coffee for several years in whole beans. I brew it in a coffee machine that grinds the beans just as it brews. You can't get any fresher than that. It's great. I have a pot of it every day. The only bad thing is that the pot runs dry.

I made a large pot which my husband and I enjoyed and I mad a double shot for my iced coffee in the afternoon. Definitely worth purchasing. #freesample. Best free bag of coffee.
