I think because of the amount of coffee in bag which they made it cheap way, base of small amount in bag that have that more rich taste. After all is not about for the price.

Many recent reviewers complain that something has changed for the worse with this coffee. This is the first time I have bought this type and think it is very good. It must have been amazing before!

I love getting my own beans to grind and love it and gotta find the amount to put in to make because it can get too strong and give it a bitter taste and i found my sweet spot

Well as a new Sam's Club member this is my first review. Unfortunately the aroma wasn't as strong as the usual Starbucks espresso is. Expiration date shown is September 2024. I could smell a weak residual of the typical aroma when opening the beg, but after brewing an espresso cup, very weak aroma indeed. Taste wasn't bitter, sweet even but the typical Starbucks experience was missing. I've asked for a replacement to be shipped. This was a shipped order. Maybe buying at the Club is better?

We love all of the verissimo pods, but especially like the espresso versions. My only complaint is, for some reason many of the pods popped open so the grounds came out into the cup, which ruined it. Considering it's about $1/cup, we were disappointed by this.

Love the $5 gift card with purchase deal, makes me sad i could only purchase 4 at a time. The espresso roast is the best coffee to put in my espresso machine without that bitter taste. I would only like to see the shipping to be a little faster. However it would not stop me from purchasing again.

I am new to the pods. I could not use them in my machine. I was able to exchange the unused boxes later in the week which was very nice. I really wanted expresso flavored pods because its my fav flavor. I was disappointed that I could not get it in full size pods like the coffee bean version.

I am not an aficionado. I do not have a grinder. I am a Starbucks fan. When I recently went back to making my own espresso, I finished off the Starbucks Espresso Roast ground coffee I had. When I bought more - Espresso Roast ground, I quickly discovered this grind is for coffee not espresso. I find the label "GROUND" deceptive but really I am upset I have a relatively expensive bag of coffee I can't use and I apparently can't buy the coffee I need.
