This blend did not have the body commensurate with it''s very strong smoky aroma. While I could let the aroma slide I really didn''t care for it. While it is mentioned in the description that it is a burned roast I think it was overdone. Whether that had to do with the lack of body - I don''t know. It''s not a bad coffee - just not something I''d buy again.

I have been drinking Starbuck's French Roast Intense and Smoky for years. I love the taste of it. The time I placed my order for Intense and Smokey I received notes of Carmel. I am not a fan of that blend. It doesn't have that INTENSE taste anymore. Where is the Intense and Smokey?

Easy VIA packets let you enjoy delicious brew without the mess of coffee makers or drips. You would never guess you were drinking instant coffee. French Roast has a dark rich flavor that is super tasty. I always carry some packets in my bag when traveling because I cannot abide weak, bland coffee . I am VIA obsessed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Starbucks. My husband absolutely loves French roast coffee. This is his favorite to brew in the morning to enjoy with breakfast. Great taste! The hint of dark caramel and sweet smoke make this coffee taste wonderful!

Everyone in our office are avid coffee drinkers. But unfortunately I would never recommend the French Roast blend for an office setting, there is no way to make it "weak" without being totally watered down. Further, I prefer my coffee strong but there is no smoothness to this blend. Warning for business owners: Very poor choice for an office setting. But Starbucks...your wonderful and we will continue to be big supporters...just with another brew! :-)

Starbucks is by far my favorite coffee. The bold flavors are my preference. They are very smooth and rich tasting. Although, I will drink any of their coffees. I have not had one I didn't like yet. Obviously, I have my favorites but I have never been disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quickly became one of my favorite French Dark Roast coffee. The quality is second to none. Very delicious, rich and fairly strong. Amazing flavor and rich smell. This don't last too long in my household. I highly recommend.

Ordered & received 3 boxes of the k-cups, unfortunately one of the boxes was somewhat smashed in leaving 5-6 k-cup crushed up. Didn't want to take a chance having to clean my machine if these cups were to break while brewing so I discarded tgem. Just wish the shipping were done better.

My order finally arrived - took about 3 weeks. Kind of a long wait but understandable. My problem is that they arrived on 2/10/2017 and expire at the end of March 2017. Seems like an 'old' batch of via coffee that the company was getting liquidating. I called to complain and the to the company's credit, they did make some adjustments. If I were to buy again, I would inquire about the expiration date. I do like the coffee but am a bit concerned with the practice. I will have to be more vigilant in the future.
