I'm comparing this Starbucks French Roast to Starbucks Verona, which is what's available in my local store (zip 33618). The French Roast tastes more roasted compared to the Verona which is a little fruitier. Both are good. If French Roast was available in store, I'd alternate between that and Verona for variety. Both are very good.

We bought five bags of this coffee and they are all not sealed. We could smell open coffee in the shipping bag and all of the bags are full of air. I can hear air whistling out of the bag tops when I pick them up. Coffee and all foods are sealed for safety and so the product doesn't spoil.

I love Sam’s club they carry my Starbucks brand coffee for a very reasonable price. Shipping is way too high for 1 item though. Last time I ended up paying almost 30$ to get 1 bag of Starbucks delivered to me. But u needed it for my company I’d had coming over so I paid it.

I just knew this was going to be a fantastic tasting coffee but I was wrong. When I opened the bag the smell was not good. It had a hint of a fish market smell. The taste was not the best either. I ended up mixing it with the Folgers which helped a lot. I just wasn't a fan of this coffee.

Great coffee if you like dark roast this is for you
