This is very expensive coffee but truly an excellent brew. I like this much better than the brand that came with my coffee maker. The K cup maker is fine for this coffee. I may purchase this again as soon as I get rid of my "over supply" of various blends.

I always like to start my day with a strong jolt of caffeine to get me through waking up and to get going. This French Roast by its self is a very rich aromatic coffee with a dark bold flavor. If you like your coffee toe-curling strong then this is for you. The coffee has no bitterness to it and has a great tatste. Had no problems using it in my coffee maker.

I was a skeptic to instant coffee for a long time, and even with "Starbucks" written on the package I was still hesitant, but after trying it I was pleasantly surprised with the taste. It might not taste exactly the same as the way your favorite barista makes it, but after a few cups of coffee from the coffee you get in a hotel room, you won't regret having these on hand. You will taste the bold signature flavors every time you open a packet. When you pack your briefcase or suitcase, take a few packets of these along so you won't ever be too far from an authentic cup of Starbucks coffee.

Starbucks French Roast has been my "go to" coffee for the last 20 years. I've looked, but found nothing to beat it. I started out with whole beans, grinding one pot at a time to keep the coffee as fresh as possible. A couple of years ago my granddaughter gave me a Kuereg machine, so I switched to Starbucks K-cup French Roast and it's just perfect for me. I order in bulk, because each K-cup is sealed and therefore always full flavored and fresh! If I want a second cup, it takes less than 30 seconds and tastes just as fresh as the first cup.

We live on Martha's Vineyard and cannot always get the whole bean French Roast Starbucks coffee that we need. Sometimes we have to settle for an inferior coffee. My husband and I have given up settling for something that just doesn't have that wonderful aroma and flavor that the French Roast does. I don't have to make reservations to go off island to get our coffee and can just go online and order it, we don't have to wait. In fact I usually make reservations one week in advance, the coffee arrived in four days after placing online order. Great Job! Thanks Starbucks.

Its nice that it's pre-ground so no grinder is necessary. Pre-ground is great for travelling when access to a grinder may be limited.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who doesn't love coffee? Especially French roast coffee made from Starbucks! They have never made a bad coffee at all. French roast is so heavenly. You make it like any other coffee. I do use more grounds because I love it stronger and more flavorful.

Leaves a nice crema on top of each cup. Only K-Cup that does that and I have tried many brands and styles. Taste like strong coffee should. Crema is a flavorful, aromatic, reddish-brown froth made when air bubbles combine with fine-ground coffee's soluble oils. The strong presence of crema indicates a quality, well-ground coffee and a skilled barista (professional coffee maker). Crema helps give a fuller flavor, longer aftertaste than drip coffee.
