I had recently been looking for a new coffee to try and to get away from the routine of going with the one or two of my long time favorites. Cafe Verona was a pleasant surprise. I am sure that I had tried Verona before, but after trying so many of the various Starbucks coffees over the years, I had decided to stop experimenting and had settled on always going with one or two of my favorites. If nothing else it always made the coffee decision easy and I knew that I would like the coffee. I decided that this time I would take a chance and look to see what else I could find (maybe there was a Starbucks coffee that I had been missing out on). Either way I selected to go with Cafe Verona and for sure it is one of the best. The coffee has a smooth sweet tasting flavor without any bitter aftertaste and it has a very satisfying flavor. If you are looking to try a different coffee or if you would like to try a dark roast coffee, then I would definitely recommend Cafe Verona.

This is my sixth order of this coffee. I panicked when I discovered the packaging had changed. It is the same wonderful coffee thank goodness! I order 3-6 bags at a time. I am the only one who drinks coffee in my house and feel I am definitely worth it. It is an excellent coffee choice for people who love full bodied coffee.

My wife and I were out in a Sunday, in a book store. We had groceries enough for the week, but our coffee supply was low. We've been Starbucks French roast drinkers for a long time, because we like it's deep flavour, but also because the acidity worked for stomachs. Other blends were not rich or full bodied enough, or they strayed onto the acidic side. We risked it, and picked up a Caffe Verona blend, as we'd never had it.... And all I can say is WOW. Deep, dark, full bodied and complex. Its perfect for our french press, which captures all the beautiful oils, making for a visually tantalizing cup of coffee. That moment when you both take a sip, and smile, as your eyes light up with satisfaction. Will likely switch to this blend, as we are able we to find it on the grocery shelf. And would highly recommend to anyone who likes their coffee dark.

My husband and I are coffee hounds and enjoy a rich cup of dark roast coffee. Caffe Verona used to be one of our favorites. Don't get me wrong, it still is a great coffee, but I feel the Sumatra will overpower my first cup of coffee in the morning. Waiting for my shipment to come in so I can have a great hardy cup of java.

But I wanted to try the dark roast, glad I did. It is on strong side, so if your sensitive to not liking strong flavored coffee, this may not be for you, but on the other hand, great for the ones that like it strong and dark.

This is my favorite coffee! I drink it almost every day. Sometimes I drink a vanilla flavored one but more often than not, I find myself reaching for Verona. I love the subtle cocoa undertones in this coffee. Cacao beans are proven to be good for your health and so is coffee so its a good marriage between the two. It is a dark strong roast. I didn't used to like darker roasted coffee beans before I tried this but it is really awesome! Give it a try for something different and unique. It makes really good iced drinks as well. Sometimes I add a little low fat milk, a tsp of unsweetened Cacao powder and a tsp of homemade boubon vanilla in my coffee for a little extra oomph! Really awsome that way :)

We really love the flavor and enjoy the taste and it’s nice to have a decaf in the afternoon with great flavor! It is something that I will certainly recommend my family and friends.

My husband and teen son use coffee (caffeine) as part of their treatment for ADD, and I had them try this as well. Ratings as follows. Husband: 2 stars. Me: 3 stars. Teen: 5 stars. Total rating of 4 stars. The ease of use with the KCups is very nice. But the coffee was a bit on the bitter side for me. I brewed a second pod, and added sugar, chocolate syrup. and whipped cream. It was better with the add-ins. I'm not sure I would purchase this for myself again.
