[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well now I get it, when people describe how wines or coffees are “full bodied” it means there are complex flavors and this coffee is finally making that term make sense. It is also ground so fine that you need less of it in the coffee maker because the coffee comes out so strong. It is intense but not too intense.

Just received my box of Pike Place Roast K-Cup Pack, 54 count. Thrilled that I can fix my own at home and take it to work. Most mornings I am in a rush and I fix my one cup and drink it leisurely while working. Yeah! This is a wonderful way to start my day.

While the coffee is excellent I would rate the entire experience as not as high as I would have expected. The reason for my rating is because 5 out of the 8 bags of coffee I received through online purchase had their vacuum seals broken. I will be using the coffee over a period of time and find it does not stay as fresh when the vacuum seal is broken. For the cost one would expect more quality control. This is not the first time that I received Starbucks coffee by online purchase this way. I consider myself as a Starbucks lover but am very disappointed in the quality control.

We were skeptical about how the at-home version would taste. My husband took one sip and said it was coffee shop good! We really enjoyed how good it tasted. Coffee snob approved!

Fraction of the cost. I highly recommend it if you want to not stop at the store and want to make it at home this is the go to

Pike Place Roast has been a favorite of mine for a couple of years now. I used to only buy it brewed fresh from the store, but now that I have a nice coffee grinder, I buy whole bean Pike Place Roast from the grocery store and make it fresh at home. This also saves me a little money which is nice (as opposed to buying a grande from Starbucks). Taste is a nice medium with a solid flavor, but not overpowering. I drink coffee black, so it's important to me that it taste delicious without any extras.

We always do a black taste test of the coffee we purchase and do the Barista thing after that. Pike Place is a well balanced coffee with a bit lower acidity. In this case we have been mixing the (pre-ground) Pike Place done in a French Press (due to the size of the pre-grind I reduced the steep time by 15 seconds) with several shots of Sumatra based Espresso. Due to the availability, we purchased the Pike Place as Ground (very unusual for us.) In our opinion, Starbucks continues to have the best coffee products on the market.

Pike's Place Roast is a great mainstay coffee choice. We prefer to always keep a couple of pounds on hand. Our preferred method of preparation is via the 'old' Starbucks Utopia by Bodum coffee maker. There is simply no better way to enjoy a cup of coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This reminds me of Seattle when I used to visit and having it in the convenience of a kcup is even better. Super easy to make and tastes fresh and great for a morning cup of coffee. Definitely my favorite flavor
