I prefer bold coffee. I purchased Pike Place in order to offer a variety of coffee blends for guests. A number of friends asked me what kind of coffee it was.

When I brewed the pike place roast and add the mild. The coffee gets cold. I had to put it in microwave. This is not what I expected. Also one of the pod was expired date mix with the valid expiration date. I was very disappointed.

I admit, I sometimes have Starbuck's "House Blend" to start the morning, but "Pike Place" is my hands-down favorite. I can drink it any and all times of the day.

Difficult to put into exact words to discribe the taste fully. About the only change recommendation would be to mellow this roast a bit... Tad bit on the bitter side which detracts slightly from fully embracing this flavor.

We love the flavor of this coffee. That's why I ordered five lbs of ground Pike Place. I only received one lb ground coffee and four lbs of whole beans.....

I am like a zombie in the morning. The quicker I can get my coffee the better. I open the packet, pour hot water from my spring water dispenser, add sweetener and whitener and voila! My caffeine fix and I start to feel awake.

Makes great ice coffee!! Put a couple tablespoons of very hot water in the bottom of the cup add coffee stir along with any sweetener &/or creamer, stir, add ice, ta da a perfect Starbucks ice coffee with no sugar.

Most likely the best I've ever had!!Absolutely out of this world!! It's really cool to taste the coffee that started it all!! Also, try the "house blend, it is also really good!!"

Pikes Place always seems to brew up just right. There are a couple other Starbucks flavors I enjoy; but when I want to taste that great Starbucks flavor Pikes Place never lets me down. Its just great coffee.

Pike Place Roast is one of my favorites in the Starbucks line. It has a rich smooth taste, and is perfect for early morning wakeups or calm evening coffee after dinner.
