[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try this coffee as I am a dark coffee Brew lover. It was brewing, I did enjoy the scent which made me even more excited to try it. However, I found it to be flat, and boring. It had no favor depth or richness that I was looking forward to. It was acidic but not too harsh. Overall I just would never buy this coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Sumatra. It's a great bold flavor. I love that the cake cups are easy to make your coffee and you don't have to worry about grinds in it like when you use the ground coffee in the K cup.

I enjoy coffee that has bold flavor but not so overwhelming that I cant finish it due to intensity. It has no acid taste during or after which is a must for me as I prefer to drink my coffee black and dont care for acid residuals taste . It has an almost earthy rustic note to it and I found it to he absolutely delicious. #freesample

Love Starbucks and the sumatra blend is great. The one con is the price. I used to get it a couple of years ago for like $30 and now it's gone up to $40 for the box. It's almost not worth buying it anymore at Sam's when you almost get it anywhere else in smaller quantities for less.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically use fresh ground coffee in reusable Kcups. Maybe because it has been a while for me, but I feel that the coffee tastes a bit stale or like a pot of coffee that has been sitting around. The Sumatra is very dark which holds up well to the soymilk I add. There is just something not fresh about it that I cannot get past. It reminds me of Dunkin', which tends to upset my stomach. #freesample

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very strong coffee flavor, hint of herbs and spices. Not a bad cup of coffee, but much stronger than I'm used to or like. The flavor profile worked well with different add-in flavor combinations (creamer and syrups).

For people who tend to get heartburn or have acid reflux (GERD) Dark Roast coffee is the best, as they produce less acid. My preferred is Organic French Roast, Italian Roast (dark coffees). They are better for my GERD and don't cause much acid reflux compared to medium roast coffees.
