My wife and I have been gold card members over five years and have tried most levels of coffee, but we return to Pike's Place as the best all around coffee. This is my favorite SB brew, and to have it as a k-cup option now is wonderful. Even on the large size the flavor is great. It is a nice smooth drink that I love to sip on when the dark roasts become too much. As a medium roast it is just as tasty as its dark roast counterparts.

I like strong coffee and usually would go for a darker roast, but I don't like the bitter aftertaste many leave behind. I tried this as a substitute several months ago and just fell in love with the blend. Rich, strong flavor, but absolutely no bitterness at all. I've even convinced a few friends to try it and switch (at least at the office where we share).

This Starbucks blend is very good for my morning rotation. I make it strong, with generous scoops to water ratio, because I feel that it packs more flavor that way. Overall this blend makes a solid cup of coffee

Bring back the original. The chocolate and nut is horrendous. I am switching brands watching for the silver bags to come back for Pikes. Avid buyer of that, wouldnt drink anything else for my morning cup until the brown bag appeared. Horrible! As if the pandemic was bad enough, we get bad coffee too! Im being fecetious in my pandemic comment, but please bring back original. Starbucks, please contact me if you have questions further.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pike Place is probably my favorite flavor/roast from Starbucks. It’s like very classic, very on brand. When you drink it you know you’re drinking something good, some well made coffee. It comes out fairly dark, but it’s not overly roasty tasting like some dark coffees are.

Very disappointed! I agree with the other reviews! I have been drinking Pikes roast since it first came in the whole bean bullet bag. (Many yrs). I was so excited when it came out in VIA form. It was great and had a rich fresh roasted Carmel flavor. Quite good on a stand alone basis. Now has to have cream and sugar. Some packets I've gotten also have been solid. In my opinion the Folders is a bit better. I have know idea what you at Starbucks are trying to pull off but the formula has indeed changed and I am disappointed that you are cutting corners and passing this stuff off for quality. Especially for this price point!

The coffee is OK. The pods are small and you only get about 5 ounces of coffee per pod. So you use two pods to get a decent size cup. Plus, the pods are more expensive than the other brand and the selection is very limited - to ONLY Starbucks products and few of those. Wish I had done more defensive shopping.

I thought I just bought a bad bag...the smell was awful and the taste not any better. So I bought another bag and it's the same! This is the only coffee we buy and this really puts a damper on our morning routine. Please bring back original Pike Place!
