Starbucks Medium Roast K-Cup Coffee Pods, Pike Place, 72 ct.

This is my favorite roast ever made by Starbucks, and now I can enjoy it FRESH at home in almost an instant. Yay!

This formula not as good as the original.  Seems to be lacking the chocolate(ty) overtones of the original...

I love this coffee, it is strong and smooth. I know I am drinking a good cup of coffee with this one. It is not bitter at all..

smooth and bold

Ok. Love doing this for Starbucks. Pike is my " go to " coffee. It is between medium and bold to me.

Since trying Pike Place Roast, no other coffee will satisfy for taste for coffee. It's the only coffee I use at home.

My Favorite

Smooth cup of coffee you can have every day. It does not have the taste of the Christmas Blend (my favorite) but it is a great substitute.

Good everyday coffee

Worst coffee ever taste like it’s burnt had to throw the whole batch away. Workers must not be doing the job right over roasted.

We just discovered this fall on vacation and staying at the resort this was the coffee they featured in the K cups and we absolutely love it!

Sent my friend Pike's Place and Holiday Blend, he loved them both and he has been treating himself everyday. Yay, Starbucks, we love you.

You know I wasn't going to review these because, really, it's coffee? BUT, since I received an email asking me to review my recent purchase of Starbucks Pike Place K-Cups... GLADLY. 
I can NOT tell you what an absolute joy it is to get up in the morning and make your coffee only to have every single pod from your box (batch# 5101670863) explode in your machine spewing grounds everywhere and giving you a giant mess to clean up. And I mean "absolute joy" with every single bit of sarcasm intended. 
These last 2 boxes that I've purchased have performed this exploding pod trick, and evidently this is not just a problem with Sam's club shipments either. I had this problem a few months back with 72 ct boxes from another retailer as well. You get a few good boxes with no issues and then you get a few boxes where every, or every other, pod explodes. Ruins your coffee and your morning because now you have to disassemble and clean your entire brewing assembly and run water through the machine to clear out the grounds.
Starbucks quality control for their K-cups has evidently turned into trash, which is exactly where these pods will be going, and I'll just buy Caribou from now on.

What the actual...?

I buy these for my office. Great K-Cup style coffee. Flavor is good, the price at Sam's is right. The folks at the office go through these pretty fast!! 

As a bonus the box is a great clean storage container.
