From the first aroma of the smooth rich grounds of a freshly opened bag to the best coffee whether unaltered or enhanced, the other coffees I've tried just don't compare. The quality is certainly well worth spending a small amount more on. Thank you Starbucks!

We were given two bags of this particular blend of Starbucks coffee and have looked in the local stores with no luck. Went online and ordered 4 bags which came in less than a week. My husband and I love our coffee. You have made us VERY happy. Thanks again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starbucks Pike Place Roasted Ground Coffee was a delightful at home experience with Starbucks fantastic blend of coffee. The Pike Place blend was refreshing to my taste buds. It was a smooth roast that paired well with a Starbucks creamer. You couldn’t tell I made it at home.

This roast is on the mid-light side of a medium roast. I opened my brand new store-bought bag of coffee beans, and the beans were nearly black. The beans were secreting oils from over-roasting. They need to change the scale for Pike Place. This was easily a medium-dark roast. The aftertaste burns my throat as I type this message (this is no exaggeration).

I tried the Pike Place coffee in my new French press and was just "wowed" by the wonderful flavor of this coffee! This is the perfect after dinner coffee to share with friends or family! The online description of this blend is just perfect for this coffee right down to the "subtle notes of cocoa and toasted nuts." I sometimes find certain coffee blends too strong, but not this one! Pike Place is just right!

This has always been my favorite go to pod for my Keurig. The last box I bought (of 72 pods) is TERRIBLE!!! It tastes like weak watery coffee, even when using the strong button. Not only weak, just bad!!! I even tried my daughter's Keurig, and the one at our vacation home. All are the same. In other reviews similar to this you say nothing has changed, but SOMETHING has!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great ground coffee to have on hand for drip or French press! It’s super consistent, so I always know what I’m getting, and I’ve used it for hot coffee and cold brew. Both are great for the home coffee drinker!

This product is bitter and lacks flavor. They need to depreciate this bad roast. I always order a blonde pour over because I know their Pike Place is very bitter / harsh and is no way a medium blend. The only problem with ordering a pour over is they'll take anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes to get it done... Yeah, I've been forgotten about while I wait for a pour over. -_-

I grew up in ships where 8 and 10 cups of coffee a day was the norm. What else was there to do crossing the Winter North Atlantic then wedge yourself into a corner of the bridge with a fresh cup of brew. The brew back then was something out of a #10 can and had a marketing slogan like "good to the last drop." What did we know? Later, I lived in Hawai'i and coffee from the Big Island's Kona Coast became something of an obsession. Very deserving living in Paradise. Now, when I travel the world -- no longer in ships -- I find it downright comforting to taste the same Pike Place brew whether it's on the Circular Quay in Sydney or at terminal whatever at London's Heathrow or on a sidewalk in Tokyo. Ray Kroc was right, but he wasn't thinking coffee beans. Here's to Starbucks and one great tasting Pike Place brew!

I couldn't be happier. The grind is perfect and consistent. The flavor is bright and rich. The coffee has the perfect amount of caffeine and gives me the right boost without the jitters. I'm a fan and I love Starbucks' Pike Place.
