Me and my Wife love the taste and Aroma. esp. after grinding are own it makes the whole house smell good. the Taste is just right and No After Taste like you get from store Brands. I also bought this when they offered by 3 get 1 free. I did not make it 4 I ordered 3 figuring they would Automatically put the 4th in. I called talk to a very helpful Lady and magically my 4th was here days later Thank You.

We have been using French Roast exclusively in England since Starbuck opened their stores in this country. We consider this to be ,by far, the best Starbuck product and have introduced it to most of our friends. We are therefore dismayed that it was discontinued late last year, a very unfortunate commercial decision. Has management got an answer?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice strong, bold and intense flavor without any acidity. The strong coffee smell is complimented by hints of Earthy aroma. The aftertaste lingers with sweetness. This produces a very enjoyable cup to drink.

The flavors are strong, overwhelming even, so you might have to use less coffee grounds per serving. French Roast is my favorite Starbucks coffee. I started drinking it way back when it was a big part of all their blends. Somehow it achieves a sweet, smoky smoothness with no harsh finish or burned aftertaste. I hope rumors of its demise are exaggerated - nothing else is quite the same.

This is one of the two coffees my husband uses along with Espresso Roast (yes, at the same time). He likes really strong coffee and then flavors it with cocoa, heavy cream and caramel. He is very set in his ways and I was able to switch him to Starbucks brand coffee beans, no problem.

You just pop it open pour it in our coffee machine and brew 4 cups. This is enough for me for the day. Love that it will stay fresh every cup. I also love the fresh strong taste of the coffee. I love the fact that every time I brew up a new batch it’s coming straight from a newly sealed can so that it’s fresh every time.

Absolutely my favorite VIA ~ Bold, strong & real coffee! Simply delicious without any bitterness ... The French know how to make great coffee! ;) Hopefully, during this lovely, snowy Wintertime ~ SB's will come to their senses and Restore their Delicious Original VIA ~ without any fake milk powder EVER again! Those VIA Lattes (back in the day) could not be beat - anywhere!! Peace.
