The coffee was exactly what I expect from a French roast. I was strong without being chalky. The bag is easily closed and a good size. I love this coffee. I began using it as soon as the VIA line was introduced, used it for years, and was very disappointed when it became no longer available in stores. Now that it's available online, please package it in 50-packs like the other coffees. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cups fit perfectly in my newer version Keurig. Brewed up a great cup of coffee as usual. The flavor profile of the French roast was bold and a little bitter which for Starbucks coffee seems to be the normal.

Not sure if this is actually in the works, but the terrifying lack of stock leads me to this review. This coffee has everything a coffee drinker (or lover) could ever ask for and taking it away would be the worst thing to do! It could even turn me away from coffee all together—it’s THAT good. Specifically the French Roast. All these commentators writing about being wasteful must’ve forgotten about how to recycle responsibly. And furthermore how much more waste is produced from brick and mortar establishments being visited because consumers feel there is NO product to make coffee at home that brings any amount of joy or that doesn’t feel like a brillo pad is going down their throats. Please, PLEASE DON’T DO IT!

Forget about hotel room coffee, carry Starbucks via packs for a rich, delicious, easy cup of joe. Always perfect tasting, full of flavor packed in such an easy small package tube.. So easy to carry in your briefcase, purse, luggage.. Just add hot water and cream/sugar of choice and enjoy.

I don't usually make a full pot on my days off since I don't drink as much. This makes just enough to stay fresh and get my morning fill without waste.
