I have been drinking dark roast coffees since the initial coffee revolution in the early 1980s. In the past fifteen years, my spouse and I have pretty much steadied upon Starbuck's French Roast as our "go to" coffee. We purchase Starbuck's French Roast K cups in bulk. Recently, we made coffee and to my dismay, there was a hint of chicory in the coffee. Since we only make French Roast, this was not due to bleed over from some other deviant coffee. Either Starbucks allowed some chicory to bleed over into their French Roast production process or they are trying to reduce the cost of materials by blending in some chicory filler. Ugh. I can still taste that awful chicory on my palate.

The Caffe Verona is perfect for the job with a great taste that helps me stay going while at work and very little calories in the morning.

My German mother has always liked her AM coffee and working as a nurse it gets me going in the am also. She was not too particular about what coffee, as long as it was strong and full-bodied. I gave her a box of Sumatra K-cups for her Birthday and I created a "monster". Now she will not accept or drink any coffee but "The Bucks"!!

The coffee is great as always, enjoy the convenience. Unfortunately one package had an opened envelope in it and I had sticky coffee all over the inside of package of eight and no star card to redeem. Highly unusual considering your usual high quality standards.

I love this French Roast because it offers a bold, strong coffee with an amazing taste. Very satisfying for me since I do like my coffee to be a little stronger than the traditional K-cups that are offered out there. I do like the Sumatra also - which compares to the french roast very nicely. You will not be disappointed if you like your coffee rich, bold, and exceptionally tasty!

I’m the only coffee drinker in the house so it’s perfect for me. I love the taste of this coffee it is strong and bold. Just enough kick to get my day started!!!

I bought a 1.5 bag of already ground coffee. First batch was underwhelming. I thought I’d miscounted the scoops to water ratio. Round II; underwhelming. Looked up on line and got to this page. Noted the unhappiness. Now stuck with a bag. I increased the coffee to water ratio by 50% to make it stronger. The “Good News,” I’ll be through this bag 50% faster.

Starbucks French Roast K-Cups are one of my favorite coffees to use in my Keurig in the mornings when getting ready for work. I love bold coffees and this one is smoky and bold. It tastes delicious - I add just a touch of cream - and really is a rich flavorful cup to savor and start my day off well.
