Disappointing shipment of products

I suppose the coffee is OK, but the problem with my order of 10 bags for Christmas gifts is a problem. The bags of whole bean coffee are very hard, caked like old coffee, wrinkled, and just a mess. I cannot use those as gifts now, as they look like they were throwaway items,so I cannot give a pleasing review.

Delicious coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this coffee! First, the small containers are awesome because they fit about a pot and a half, and because they’re sealed, the coffee stays fresh and doesn’t get stale. The aroma was bright and had a fabulous heavy “coffee” scent. These grounds make a strong coffee, so I was able to feel awake much quicker. It wasn’t a heavy, acidic brew, which I liked. I’m definitely keeping this around!

Just wow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very expressed by these Starbucks caffeine Verona individuals. I have always loved Starbucks coffee so I was very eager to try these out. Individual cans make sure your getting the freshest coffee everytime. I would suggest make a 6 cup instead of the recommended 4 for each can. The 4 seemed to be a little strong for my taste.

Poor Choice for Office Setting

Everyone in our office are avid coffee drinkers. But unfortunately I would never recommend the French Roast blend for an office setting, there is no way to make it "weak" without being totally watered down. Further, I prefer my coffee strong but there is no smoothness to this blend. Warning for business owners: Very poor choice for an office setting. But Starbucks...your wonderful and we will continue to be big supporters...just with another brew! :-)

Convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The single cans are convenient, quick and easy. If you like your coffee super strong, the directions are great. In my house, we make a full pot with one can and it's perfect. It has a good flavor and I will be purchasing this product again.

Best K-Cup there is

Leaves a nice crema on top of each cup. Only K-Cup that does that and I have tried many brands and styles. Taste like strong coffee should. Crema is a flavorful, aromatic, reddish-brown froth made when air bubbles combine with fine-ground coffee's soluble oils. The strong presence of crema indicates a quality, well-ground coffee and a skilled barista (professional coffee maker). Crema helps give a fuller flavor, longer aftertaste than drip coffee.

More than just the graphics have changed!

I have been buying Starbuck's French Roast Dark Roast K-cup pods for as long as they've been making this flavor. About a month ago, the graphics on their French Roast Dark Roast package changed (or maybe this new package just came to my area). I'm all about updating graphics, so I didn't think anything about it until I drank my 1st cup of coffee out of this new package. This coffee is not the same. Not even close. I looked on the box and the new graphics state notes of dark caramel & sweet smoke. This is not the original FRDR recipe. The original FRDR is intense & smoky. They have definitely changed something to make this coffee sweeter and leave a bitter taste in your mouth. The original FRDR that I've been drinking forever was not sweet and never left a bitter taste on the tongue. I like a good strong cup of coffee and the original Starbucks FRDR has given me that consistently every morning, never failing... until now. Hate to say it, but I will now be shopping around for a new dark roast coffee. This is a real bummer for me. If you just want a consistent, deep rich coffee to wake up to every day, I do not recommend this new Starbucks French Roast Dark Roast at.

Great for espresso

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not the usual Starbuck product user but I like a dark roast coffee. I used the Starbuck French roast in my espresso machine, and then I made a pot with my regular filtered coffee maker. The flavor turned to be quite different. In my humble opinion, this makes an affordable good espresso, which keeps the delicate caramelized & sweet, aromatic taste that resembles the taste of black licorice. The aroma is very delicate and won't leave you with the bad aftertaste that many ground coffee has. I won't trade the current brand I have been using, but I will consider SBUX French Roast if I ever need a second option.

Starbucks French Roast

An excellent roast for anyone who loves coffee with a strong, smoky, an almost dark chocolately taste with just the right amount of bitterness. It should be enjoyed black to fully appreciate it''s taste and flavor. Adding cream and/or sugar would be insulting to such a wonderful roast. Using a French press to make coffee with Starbucks French Roast is by far the best way to truly appreciate this roast!

Taste buds delight

The 16 oz. packages are so appreciated. The aroma upon opening the packages is amazing. One can not wait to brew a pot to savor. When I am about to use my last scoops in the last package, I anxiously anticipate the arrival of my UPS delivery person who is always so dependable. French roast has that perfect robust yet mild flavor which make every cup a pleasure.
