I have tried all the other brands of French Roast but for me there is nothing like Starbucks French Roast It seems to me like the other BIG warehouse wasn't playing well in the sandbox with Starbucks with this one and discontinued it. Thank you SC for stocking this item!

This has been my favorite coffee of a lifetime and my go to since I had my first cup at a B&B while on vacation in Nantucket in 2002. There is nothing that comes close and unfortunately it is becoming more difficult to source...don't you dare ever discontinue this Starbucks!!!!!

I am easily pleased by most coffees. However, most of the people I know are what I would call coffee snobs. They like expensive coffees. They start with whole beans and weigh them to make their coffee. In some ways they only drink StarBucks coffee when they are too tired to make their expensive stuff. But StarBucks is the only Keurig coffee they will drink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one IS MY FAVORITE! I chose this because it is a Dark roast, but don't let that fool you, it is smooth. With notes of dark caramel and sweet smoke, it is a masterpiece. Made with muti-blend beans, hailing from Asia/Pacific, and Latin America, it offers a big bold taste with consistenty and quality. I have found that it is the easiest on my stomach acid as compared to other coffees, and I will continue to purchase. #freesample

I really liked it. I will continue to drink this flavor. I received this in exchange for my opinion.

Starbucks pods are ok but I was called at 5:30pm on Saturday (was to be delivered Saturday) from Sam’s Club asking me to cancel my order because they didn't have anyone to deliver it. They wanted me to cancel & reorder so they wouldn't be late. I told them no because they already had 3 days to deliver it...it was in store & I was paying to have it delivered. It was late.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this coffee tasted a little bit bitter to me. I didn't taste any notes of the dark caramel or the sweet smoke. I would probably enjiy it more if it wasn't a dark roast and a little bit more in the middle. It was easy to use the pods in my machine. Clean up was quick since it is in the pod form. Though I didn't care so much about the coffee I will keep some on hand for a variety for guests. #ad

Full, rich flavor, smooth, low acidity, and stands up well when sugar and cream are added. Gets me going in the morning and is the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. A winner! #ad

Starbucks French Roast is a pretty good cup of coffee. I bought this because Sam's was out of Tully's French Roast, which is my preferred coffee. As long as I use the strong setting on my Keurig, this is a pretty good cup of coffee. It isn't great, but a good substitute for Tully's or Peet's French Roast.
