This French toast is amazing, my favorite thus far from the Starbucks selections. No sugar or cream is necessary as I really enjoy the flavor it has on its own. My wife thinks I’m exaggerating but you have to try it yourself to understand what I’m talking about.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the chance to try the Starbucks French Roast as a #freesample and it was absolutely delicious. It is one of the best French roast coffees that I have tried in a ground form. You can taste all of the notes of caramel and smoke, and you can just tell that the coffee is sourced from wonderful coffee beans. I think of the different Starbucks ground coffees that I’ve tried in the past this one is definitely my favorite. It had been a while since I had purchased this one and when I drank it again, I was kind of disappointed with myself that it had been such a while since I’ve had it because it’s just so good. And I’m someone that adds creamer to their coffee and even with the creamer, you still can taste the bold and richness of the coffee and that’s another reason why I love it.

This French roast coffee is all that. Hits all the right notes, bold but not overpowering, smokey but not overly bitter, smooth and silky while still retaining a satisfying kick. This is an extremely enjoyable coffee. Goes well with everything or all by itself. All around great cup of joe.

I found it to be bold but rich and delicious while my partner felt it was roasted too much and tasted like burnt coffee grounds. To each their own

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who doesn’t love Starbucks??? I have nothing bad to say about this coffee and that’s why I gave it four stars. I drink 2-3 cups per day and my spouse drinks double that. So the coffee pot of going a lot. I always buy Starbucks for the quality of the taste and for the delicious smell of it. I love that dark strong smell in the morning. This brand smells as strong as it tastes. I use filtered water in the coffee reserve for the best tasting coffee.

She even tried it in her single reusable dispenser and it came out perfect like a whole pot of coffee.

This coffee is absolutely horrible. I had been drinking French Roast for a long time and just tried my last K cup (brown box) and then made a cup w/new green box. OMG, I can't describe the taste but something like burnt, pungent and bitter. I'm so disappointed and hoping I can return my box of coffee to the grocery store.

It might be too bold for some palates, but if you're looking for a heavily roasted punch, these are the beans for you. Perhaps unbeatable value for whole roasted beans.
