[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wowza, Starbucks has outdone itself. These adorable little airtight cans of wonderful smelling dark coffee are amazing! It says the can makes 1/2 a pot. Well, I used the coffee in my single serve maker. One can made 4 cups for me. The coffee was thick, rich and so delicious! I love the tiny bit of residue that seeps through giving the coffee an even more deep and intense flavor. The grounds are that fine! If you love dark coffee, you should definitely give this a try.

best K cups ever. I have been a Starbucks coffee fan for many years. In the beginning I purchased only whole beans and ground them at home, this is when we drank more coffee, I now usually only have one cup a day and enjoy the convience of the individual Kcups. When I travel I always take VIA packets with me.

Bought a bag of whole beans at my local grocery shop, looking to try out brands that I don't usually buy. When I opened the bag, my first impression was pretty nice, the smell was deep and aromatic- like a French roast should be; the color seemed a little too dark, darker than other French roast brands, and I suspected that it was burnt. I went on to brew my coffee using the drip process. Seeing as I'm a coffee junkie, I made sure that the temperature was right, the filter was pre-wet and warm, and whatever else those enthusiasts do. I never drink my coffee black, I always add something like ice cream, or milk. The taste was burnt, and bitter, and the almost disgusting aftertaste stuck with me for a long time. I tried it thrice actually, and was disappointed each time, especially when it sits for a minute, it is almost undrinkable. I've never had such a bad experience with other brands of French roast coffee, I can tolerate bitter tastes pretty well. Needless to say, I'll be taking a break from French roast for a while, and will never buy Starbucks brand coffee ever again, sorry :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the chance to try the Starbucks French Roast as a #freesample and it was absolutely delicious. It is one of the best French roast coffees that I have tried in a ground form. You can taste all of the notes of caramel and smoke, and you can just tell that the coffee is sourced from wonderful coffee beans. I think of the different Starbucks ground coffees that I’ve tried in the past this one is definitely my favorite. It had been a while since I had purchased this one and when I drank it again, I was kind of disappointed with myself that it had been such a while since I’ve had it because it’s just so good. And I’m someone that adds creamer to their coffee and even with the creamer, you still can taste the bold and richness of the coffee and that’s another reason why I love it.

Easy VIA packets let you enjoy delicious brew without the mess of coffee makers or drips. You would never guess you were drinking instant coffee. French Roast has a dark rich flavor that is super tasty. I always carry some packets in my bag when traveling because I cannot abide weak, bland coffee . I am VIA obsessed!

I've drank starbuck for many years now. I can't drink any other coffee. French roast is absolutely the perfect cup of coffee. Having k cups, is fantastic. I'm able to bring my own coffee & enjoy it where ever I go to visit. Every other coffee taste like water to me. Best tasting coffee. Home delivery is the best. Good amount of k cups for a very reasonable price. Can't beat it. All around perfect!!
