[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes a pretty good cup of coffee. I used 3/4 cup of this roast for a full pot of coffee. This is my normal scoop size so I could compare to my other French Roast blend. This was actually stronger, which surprised me. I thought it would have been about the same because my normal brand is known to be strong. With the strongness came a slight bitterness but nothing overwhelming or off putting. So I’d be happy to buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's good, full but not too strong. I really jazz up my coffee with creamers and such but this one is easy to get too weak with a strong creamer. It has a good caffeine kick and the flavor is there, it's just not as strong as I'm used to. Good though so I can't knock it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wowza, Starbucks has outdone itself. These adorable little airtight cans of wonderful smelling dark coffee are amazing! It says the can makes 1/2 a pot. Well, I used the coffee in my single serve maker. One can made 4 cups for me. The coffee was thick, rich and so delicious! I love the tiny bit of residue that seeps through giving the coffee an even more deep and intense flavor. The grounds are that fine! If you love dark coffee, you should definitely give this a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the Starbucks Caffe Verona coffee. I am a big fan of Starbucks in general, so I had to try this out. I received a box of 8 cans of ground 100% arabica coffee. 8 small cans make 8 half pots of coffee. So this will sure to last me. The flavor is dark roast which is nice because for a mom of two girls I definitely need a pick me up. You can mix your favorite flavor or milk to the coffee as well as sugar if you'd like to add tase, but it isn't necessary. What I liked most about this product is that the coffee is in sealed tight cans. So I don't have to go into my cabinets to find a bag of coffee. Too much of a hassle. Just pop the can open and pour into the filter. It's really that easy! I will recommend to family and friends. Thank you!

Bought a bag of whole beans at my local grocery shop, looking to try out brands that I don't usually buy. When I opened the bag, my first impression was pretty nice, the smell was deep and aromatic- like a French roast should be; the color seemed a little too dark, darker than other French roast brands, and I suspected that it was burnt. I went on to brew my coffee using the drip process. Seeing as I'm a coffee junkie, I made sure that the temperature was right, the filter was pre-wet and warm, and whatever else those enthusiasts do. I never drink my coffee black, I always add something like ice cream, or milk. The taste was burnt, and bitter, and the almost disgusting aftertaste stuck with me for a long time. I tried it thrice actually, and was disappointed each time, especially when it sits for a minute, it is almost undrinkable. I've never had such a bad experience with other brands of French roast coffee, I can tolerate bitter tastes pretty well. Needless to say, I'll be taking a break from French roast for a while, and will never buy Starbucks brand coffee ever again, sorry :(

I saw a few of these pods in my co workers office and decided to try one. It changed my life. I will never go back to dunkin or any other coffee. If you love a deep roasted Smokey flavor this is the coffee for you. I just wish I knew the amount of caffeine in it. It’s not on the box or online anywhere... shouldn’t all good have a nutrition facts chart???

I love how they are half pot cans. so you get 8 cans in the box that make half a pot of coffee. They are already measured out, you just pop the lid off the can and pour right into your coffee maker. The coffee smells amazing brewing and in the can. It has a such rich, strong taste to it without bitterness. I am very impressed with it and will buy more!!! I really like that i do not have to measure it, these would be perfect to take with you to a hotel or trip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this coffee is phenomenal and I found that I could actually use less of it than the usual to make a normal pot of coffee. The tins make a super strong 4 cups but I was able to use one can in my whole 10 cup carafe and have it also taste great. Either way it is used the taste was great! The cans were easy to open and that fresh coffee smell upon opening really helped the experience.
