This is such a nice, lightweight moisturizer that it is perfect under makeup or alone. It absorbs super quickly leaving my skin feeling so soft I had zero issues with makeup pilling or breaking and absolutely no white cast. I have olive skin so this is always a concern with sunscreen products for me. It dries down almost instantly to a soft matte. I have dry skin and have no sheen or oiliness from this, but it also keeps my dry patches at bay which is a must when I am choosing a daytime moisturizer. I typically find it impossible to find dual purpose moisturizer/sunscreen that works for both. I went to the beach this weekend and was able to keep this in my purse to reapply and could be confident I would not be walking around with a glossy shine face after I did. That is worth its weight in gold. It makes my skin LOOK nice on top of doing its job! I am fortunate to have nice skin, but I am hitting that "mature skin" age and having something that makes my skin look nice and protects it from damage is amazing. When it says “no fragrance” it means no scent at all. So many products say fragrance free, but they just mean free of perfumes and then they still have a weird scent to them, but there is nothing with this. My face tends to be really sensitive to fragrances, especially in the sun, so this is a keeper. I really do love this! It's hydrating enough to not need a lot of it at once and I think that might've reduced it's SPF benefits for me but with the SPF so low, another sun screen would be needed regardless.
