I got hives and welts all over my face, eyelids, and neck. I was told I would only be able to use mineral sunscreen for now on. I have had no reaction from this sunscreen. It's very light so it works well under makeup and blends well, no white like regular sunscreen. I only took off a star since it's only 15spf. I had a recent psoriasis flare up on my face and this has been a godsend keeping the flakes away. My face feels moist and I don't have to worry about bulking up with more product like sun screen. I didn't notice a smell and used it mainly in the morning and once later on when I planned on staying outside. I feel like I get a ton of product always as a little goes a long way. There are minimal ingredients, very few known irritants, and no fragrances. There are no heavy oils (other than mineral oil) or butters. This would be a great daily lotion for someone with sensitive, acne prone skin. With regard to sun protection, this is probably better than nothing but worse than a hat. It is broad spectrum, but there are only two sunscreen filters included, one of which protects only against UVB, is a known hormone disrupter, and is not reef safe (if that is of importance to you). The other is a mineral sunscreen which protects against UVA and UVB (making this broad spectrum), but the amount necessary to get sun protection would make this a difficult sell for anyone.
