I Wish There Was an Ultra-Gentle Mode

I wish there was an "ultra-gentle" mode. I find that even the lowest setting, combined with the softest brush head is too aggressive for me.

reply from Philips Consumer Care

Hi there, Thank you for sharing this feedback with us. We're sorry to hear that you're facing an issue with your Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100. This is not the experience we wish you had. However, we suggest you try these suggestions to see if you can fix the issue. Sonicare toothbrushes use powerful vibrations to clean your teeth. The sound produced is louder than a manual toothbrush. It may take some time to become acquainted with electric brushing if you are new to it. A loose brush head could be the cause of your toothbrush's unusually loud noise. Ensure that the brush head is firmly attached to the handle. A small gap will remain between the handle and the brush head for vibration as needed. It's best to get your brush head replaced every three months. If you're looking for a new brush head, you can find it in our online store. Take off the brush head from the handle. Turn your toothbrush on. If your toothbrush is still making a loud and abnormal noise your toothbrush is broken. We recommend you request an online repair or exchange. If your brush head stops making noise, it is defective or worn out. A new brush head must be replaced. We hope this information was helpful. If the issue still persists, please get in touch via Social Media. We’re available on Facebook (@Philips) and Twitter (@PhilipsCare). Don’t worry, if you don’t use Social Media, you can also reach out to us via the contact page: www.Philips.com/contact. Hope to speak to you soon! Best regards, Philips Consumer Care

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Defective. Toothbrush has no charge, and does not light up when connected to charger.

dual voltage and does a very good job of cleaning.

I bought the Sonicare primarily because it is dual voltage, but now that I have used it I am very pleased with the results, especially the tooth whitening function.

My husband and I each bought the Philips Sonicare 6100 toothbrush after having our teeth cleaned at our dentist office. This brand was recommended. Both of us like the toothbrush and are satisfied with the way it cleans our teeth.

Awesome basic unit if you don't want to download Apps for brushing technology

I have the Diamond Clean toothbrush which I use at home. Bought the 6100 as it has less bells and whistles which are unnecessary for use at work. Easy to use and does a fantastic job of cleaning like all Philips Sonicare products.

My go to toothbrush!

Hands down this is the best electric toothbrush and it is pink! I have used Sonicare toothbrushes since 2011, however prefer this model. I always have good dental checkups. It's the way to go! Worth every penny!

Love my toothbrush

Awesome and amazing. I wish I would have been using it my whole life. This is an excellent product. I got the pink one so the guys in my family won't touch it. Thanks so much.

Love My Pink toothbrush

I love the color pink. Ive been using Sonicare for 20 years. With proper technique and flossing, my gums are in great health and dental cleanings are a breeze. These really are a must.
