[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used Philips Sonic toothbrushes for years. I had my teeth whitened, it ended up removing some of my enamel. Now my teeth stain easily, I was getting my teeth cleaned at the Dentist 4 times a year. This is the only toothbrushes that remove my stains. It's truly the best.

I received this free sonicare 6100 toothbrush and was was curious to see how it compared to the other electric tooth brush I've been using for several years. There were some features of the sonicare I like better than my previous brush and I think overall I would prefer the sonicare if I had a choice to buy one over again. The vibrations/frequency of the sonicare seem to be higher pitched and would do a better job of ultrasonically cleaning in between my teeth. The other nice feature over the my old brush is that you can decide what speed of the vibrations/frequency depending on what type of cleaning or polishing you want to do. The only thing I didn't like it first was the size of the head of the brush. My prior brush has a circular brush head which feels like it covers more of an area than the rectangular shaped brush head on the sonicare.

Bought yesterday and am charging on stands. First thought is manual could be better. Questions like Should you leave the brush in the stand when you are not using it of charge it when it shows depleted? I have brushes left over from my old brush that died, can I use them in this new unit even though they aren't 'BrushSync' types? Impressed the new unit can go 2 weeks without charging.. Also noticed that it has a 2 year warranty (On back of box)

I received a sample of this product for a review and I hadn`t thought it would be much better or different than the name brand electronic toothbrush that I already had but it really was. I love all the settings `clean, white and gum care` and I have tried them all but I tend to choose `white` with a whitening toothpaste and the difference shows. The Sonicare does not just brighten the shade of white that my teeth are but it gives them a surface shine. After I used the toothbrush once I had that smooth teeth feeling like you have after you`ve been for a dentist cleaning. I already floss and use and an electric toothbrush but I don`t think I'll use anything but the Sonicare from now on. It tickled a little bit the first time I used the Sonicare but I got used to it after a couple of uses. I want to buy another one for my spouse because I feel like it gives a better, cleaner result and I feel weird having something that works so much better and not being able to share it with my family.

I received the free ProtectiveClean 6100 Sonicare to test and the toothbrush exceeded my expectations. A very nice looking toothbrush that does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. The head is a bit smaller so it was able to clean my back teeth extremely well. My teeth felt cleaner for a much longer period of time well after I had brushed. I would recommend this toothbrush to anyone in the market for an electronic toothbrush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third Sonic toothbrush, it has multiple cleaning settings, easy to brush with, and has an excellent battery life. My only issue has been the base metal rod of the toothbrush where the brush head attaches will eventually break and render the toothbrush useless. Phillips has replaced it under warranty but so far they seem to last less than a year.

It works just as good as our 5 year old model. There are fewer settings, which is good. I have never used anything but the clean function. It does remember brush heads, and I don't think that is listed in the specifications or the box. Li-ion batteries increase in power density every year, so this should run longer between charges than our older model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this toothbrush solely based on its color. I didn't want anything extravagant because it's a toothbrush after all. However, it did motivate me to brush my teeth thoroughly morning and night because how simple it was compared to a manual toothbrush, and simply becuase I like the color pink.

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I would give the Philips ProtectiveClean 6100 Sonicare 5 stars. I have been using Sonicare and years and this model works as well as previous versions but has a couple of new features that I really like. I found the design of the Sonicare to be sleek and easy to use. I appreciate the three modes that you can easily switch between `clean`, `white` and `gum care`. I think it will take at least a month to see if there is a difference in each of these modes but it`s nice to be able to choose. I mostly used the white mode and felt that worked very well for me. I also like that the brush head is very easy to attach and remove. This allows you to clean the bottom of the brush head. This design is much improved from previous versions that would allow lots of `gunk` to build up on the inside of the brush head which was difficult to clean. My favorite feature of this toothbrush is the Brush head replacement reminder. This smart brush heads use a microchip to synch with the handle and will alert you with a light on the handle when it`s time to replace the brush head. I really appreciate this feature because I never remember when to it`s time to change this brush head. Another very useful feature is the battery light that indicates the status of the battery life. There are four different colors/beeps that tell you if the toothbrush if fully charged or has no brushing sessions left and needs to be charged. Overall I`m very happy with this toothbrush and feel like the new features are a definite improvement. I would highly recommend this toothbrush for ease of use and helpful features.

I bought a two pack of this product for my wife and me. Mine is not working well and when I called they said my warranty is up but offered me a coupon on another toothbrush. You would think for the money that they would last longer. They really need to improve the quality of the product!!!
