Amazingly Clean Teeth but Slightly Messy Bathroom

I received this product in exchange for writing a review and was perhaps a little more excited than I should have been, because I was actually unhappy with the toothbrush I was using at the time and had been searching for a new one. And then this fell into my lap! Overall, I was truly pleased with the toothbrush. My teeth are stubbornly on the yellow side and have remained so despite several attempts to whiten them but after using this toothbrush once, I could swear they looked cleaner. Not to say, I was ready for a white teeth commercial, but after two weeks, I really can see a noticeable difference. Modes: the toothbrush has three modes: clean, white, and gum care. The real difference here is just length the brush stays on but I like that it's timed, because it encourages me to brush longer, which I hate in general. Supposedly you're supposed to use a different brush for these modes but I only have one. I imagine it might be frustrating to change brushes for different modes but only used whitening. It does has three speeds or strengths which is a nice option if you want more clean or are having some sensitivity and that was easy to use. Brush Shape: The brush on this on somewhat oval, like a traditional toothbrush and while I like this in general and feel like it fits in my mouth, I did struggle to make it fit well on the backs on my lower front teeth. You can turn the brush, but it just doesn't fit perfectly, at least in my mouth, which is on the small size. So, on the pro side, I like the different cleaning options and for me, it really did make a difference in the look and feel of my teeth. My only real cons are it doesn't fit perfectly in my mouth and for some reason when I brush, in the front, if I don't keep my mouth closed, toothpaste splatter flies out, even when I only use a small amount which is a little annoying. For me though, the effectiveness makes up for having to wipe down my mirror every now and then!

Good Compact Electric Toothbrush

I received this product as a sample in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I`ve always been a fan of electronic toothbrushes and the ProtectiveClean 6100 Sonicare exceeded my expectations. The toothbrush gave my teeth a good clean and I was impressed by the smaller compact brush head. I like the feel of the body and product is slim and well made. My favorite feature was the three settings `clean, white, gum care` which allows me to choose the settings I need for my brushing purpose. I was impressed by how easy it was to use right out of the box but I can do with more detailed instructions on features. I used other brands before and Sonicare is up there with quality. I wish it did have a more `flossing` action and leaving your teeth super clean in between. I would like a better storage and charger for my toothbrush because I am left with the brush head and a top cover and nothing to keep the head and the brush together. Overall, I enjoy the product and it does a good job cleaning my teeth.

Changes the way you think of manual brushing

I've been using manual toothbrushes my entire life and I thought I was doing a good job. After a long mental health episode that left me not caring about my teeth I knew I had to go to the dentist, at my initial consult I asked the assistant what the best electric toothbrush is, she said philips sonicare diamondclean. Now the diamondclean line is very expensive and has some features I don't care for (I don't need an app). So I bought this instead. The way this brush feels is wild, you will never be able to go back to manual. This leaves my mouth feeling like I just got a cleaning. When I went back for my cleaning my hygienist was very happy that I bought a philips and told me that oral-bs don't work very well (can't verify but I imagine its because of user error). My cleaning was very quick, no longer then 20 minutes, with very little tartar. Now I have 6 months till my next cleaning in December but I hope I will get even better results. I did change the head to the A3 because soft bristles are better for your enamel and gums.

Five Stars...Teeth feel cleaner than ever!

I received my first Sonicare, as a free sample to review, as I had been a loyal Oral B user for awhile. So I was sort of expecting a rotating style brush head. NOPE this vibrates. It has 3 different clean settings and you can change the power of the vibrations. In my opinion if you have never used one of these start at the lowest setting. Assembling this was super simple, just pop the crush head on and its ready to go, but remember to charge it first. The time to change the brush head is a handy little tool, so you know exactly how long you have been using the current one. There is such an intense feeling of clean when using this for 2 minutes that I couldnt believe the difference. My teeth felt super smooth and my mouth felt all tingly and clean.

Beautiful Design & Great Features

I've used an electric toothbrush on and off for the past 20 years, though i never used a Sonicare product before i received this one as a free product to review. My sense before using this was that they would be mostly the same - because i mean how much can you improve on a thing that has just one simple mission, to brush your teeth? Turns out, alot can be improved. Starting with the feel - this one feels nice in my hand, not that the other one that i have felt bad, it's just that this one felt better - not as heavy, nicely balanced, and the long detachable brush head meant that i didn't need to hold the bulkier body of the toothbrush as close to my mouth. This means it is a lot easier to manipulate the brush head around your teeth - a small but very significant item that i never would've realized until i used this unit. The brush head itself was surprisingly smaller than i expected - about 2/3 the size of my manual brush, and that smaller-scale allows me more precise control of what and where i'm brushing. My other electric toothbrush had a 2 minute timer feature where the brush would pulse quickly to let me know my recommended brush time was done. I always appreciated that, but Philips improved on this basic idea by providing 4 subtle but clear signals at 30 second increments, so that you can more accurately budget your brush time by dividing your mouth into 4 quadrants. Ironically dividing the time into 4 actually makes me feel that i'm brushing faster now than i was before. And last but perhaps most important for me, the unit also gives me a separate signal - this one a distinctly weaker pulsing of the brush head - that i'm pressing too hard against my teeth and gums. This is a huge feature for me as my dentist has at times warned me that my gums showed signs of too much brush pressure. This brush was very easy to use the first time - I just attached the brush head, apply toothpaste and click the on button. After the first use i left it in the charging dock for 24 hours, per the instructions, then used it for a full week without any noticeable need to recharge it. The unit i received came with a W Diamond Clean brush head, but i see from the packaging that there's at least 3 other options, emphasizing plaque control, gum care and teeth whitening. I was skeptical of what this product could offer, but having used this for a week i am completely won over by it.

great brush

This was my first time using a Sonicare Toothbrush and it felt amazing. You can definitely feel the deep clean from the bristles. Now you have 3 different setting for the type of care you are seeking. If you have sensitive teeth the vibration may not be suitable for you. Love the base for charging and its very easy to use. I did receive this as a free sample but would highly recommend it

Best toothbrush I've ever used!

So I recieved a FREE Phillips Sonicare toothbrush to try in exchange for my review. I must say I was using the oral b electronic toothbrush before this one and now I will only use my new one. The two major things I really noticed differently are the amount of clean I get. It used to seem as though when I was done using the other brush I wasn't really getting clean. With the Sonicare my teeth are literally squeaky clean. Love it! The other thing that took a minute to get used to is the vibration on the Sonicare. It is really more intense even at a low setting so it tickled a bit at first. Overall I absolutely love this product and would recommend it to anyone.

This product is amazing!

I received a free sample of the ProtectiveClean 6100 Sonicare toothbrush to review and I can`t say enough great things about this product. I had a different electric Sonicare toothbrush but this one is so much better. It leaves my teeth feeling so clean after brushing for 2 minutes. My old toothbrush allowed water and toothpaste to gather after brushing and it was disgusting if you didn`t pull it apart after each brushing. The ProtectiveClean 6100 just has a small replaceable head that doesn`t allow this junk to gather so it doesn`t have to be cleaned. I simply wipe my toothbrush dry after each brushing and it stays clean. I`ve been using this toothbrush for a week now and I haven`t had to charge it yet. I love this toothbrush and I`m looking forward to trying the different type of brush heads. The one that came with my free sample is the Clean toothbrush head and I absolutely love this one. I will definitely purchase one of these for my husband as well. Great product! Two thumbs up!

Whitening brush that's easy on the gums

I recieved a free product sample of the sonicare protectiveClean 6100 in exchange for my honest review and after using for a couple weeks I am very happy with its proformance. It has a gentile start feature which is especially nice if you have never used this type of toothbrush, the tingle of the sonic cleaning can be too much for some people at first. The built in 2 minute timer and pressure sensor are two included features which are nice to have, when you hear the beep you just move to the next area until you have brushed all your teeth. The only down side that I can think of is that there is only one brush head included, it would have been nice if it came with two heads but that said I will continue to use this brush, It leaves my teeth feeling smooth and clean and my gums are in better shape than before.
