Great price gotten at Sam's Club. Works well, but I wish one could stop the thing quickly with a single press while brushing, rather than pressing the start/stop for 2 seconds--not the easiest thing to do when the toothbrush is in your mouth. You don't want to take it out of your mouth while running because it "splashes" all over the bathroom.

I have been considering buying a rechargeable toothbrush for a couple of years. Why I waited, I don't know. I guess I was confused about all of the choices, reviews, ratings, etc. I chose the Sonicare HealthyWhite and my husband and I absolutely love it. Our teeth feel so clean. This has been said in other people's reviews, but it is true that they feel like they just got professionally cleaned. We have just used the cleaning feature, and getting used to it. I haven't tried the whitening feature yet, so I'm thinking this could only get better. I would very much recommend the HealthyWhite model.

My wife and I bought 2 versions of the HealthyWhite - the HX6710 and HX 6730. Mine lasted about 3 years and hers about 1 year. Both started to make louder than normal vibration noises and then just stopped working altogether. These were well-taken care of, just seemed to vibrate themselves out of commission.

Have been using Sonicare tootbrushes for about ten years. They hold up well and do a good job. This model seems to vibrate more and polish more. Very happy. Only problem was that they didn't have it in the store so I had to order online. Price dropped $25 two weeks after I bought it. Happy with the product and service, just not the timing of purchase.

We were using a manual toothbrush but brushing with this is a whole lot different. We can't compare it with other brushes of this kind because this is our first electric toothbrush though. The timer will make you brush for the whole recommended amount every time. I am not sure I was doing that with the manual brush. We could have bought a single toothbrush and then buy one brush head for each. It is easy to change the brush head.
