I loved the texture and flavor of this product. Plus it is so easy to prepare. I don't have to think too far ahead as it only takes 90 seconds in the microwave.

Used to buy this all the time when I had a microwave. Was happy to learn it can be quickly and easily prepared on the stovetop; just add a little water per package directions

Never thought I'd be a fan of brown rice, but the combination works. It's super easy to prepare. You may want to add a little vegetable broth after cooking for more flavor.

Seriously though, why does this smell so bad? It doesn't taste awful, but the smell was so terrible it was so hard to eat. It made our entire house stink. Did I get a bad batch? This can't be how its supposed to be.

This product is horrible the product in some of the packs were rotten purple and molded and in the others there was little worms absolutely disgusting!!!

Don't know what it is supposed to smell like but it smells terrible taste isn't much better. I managed to eat one serving and threw the rest away. Do not recommend.

Quick to cook

These come 6 pouches to a box and are easy to make. There's tabs at the top on both sides, just open the pouch 2 inches and pop in the microwave for 90 seconds. We paired it with Gordon's Pretzel Crusted Talapia and they worked really well together. Our 4 year old loved it so much it was requested again the next night for dinner, so yeah we had it two days in a row ;)

I usually make rice on the stove. I recently purchased jasmine rice in a pouch and was surprised it was so good. Given that it was tasty and convenient, I decided to purchase this rice today. No one, and I mean no one, could get through a spoonful of this rice in my house. It smelled funky and tasted funky! I would not recommend this to anyone. You are better off making quinoa and brown rice separately, mixing them together, then add whatever seasoning you like.
